Abuse the FUCK out of low-altitude cheap slow airplane to kill all the expensive helicopters btw (basically no counter), it's the meta on 2600+ and why LMUR didn't break the game despite the crazy buffs.

  1. no more pilot donation for suicide planes

  2. strafe or right click = not needed, just have to lazily move 2000m from the heli and it's literally deleted from the game.

  3. the fire angle cone is very forgiving, especially against helicopters

  4. undodgeable

  5. very hard to stop with bullshit ECM, chaff, lower AA damage, lower base AA range

  6. even if you die to ASF, you just wasted like 4~6 AtA missiles with like 95~140 pts plane who cares lmao buy it again

  7. works against tanks etc too... thanks to bullet travel time + network delay, if you can't see the future and smoke / hide preemptively, you die no matter what you do to react.

Basically,

you see 200+ pts helicopter or tank = literally no matter what without exception, just buy your 95~140pts ground attack gun plane and just right click the ground nearby the target

no exception, it's just op.

Did someone already do the math on MLRS fire-and-RTB vs fire-and-resupply?

upkeep tax + supply cost + maybe a small risk factor

vs.

ammo pts deduction from RTB

honestly don't know which is better

you want to RTB them like 5 minutes before the game finishes anyway but I want to know if i should RTB them all the time after firing

I know you get to use the thing more if you resupply them instead of calling them back, but if the money turns out to be the same or better for RTB side i would rather just fire them full salvo and RTB every time and use the pts to call other fire support

Patch is overall fantastic and we are so back, but the weird bug persists where the game timer stops ticking and no victory points are given and you stuck in a forever-game.

This needs to be said again : Broken Arrow is a very fun and balanced game - IN SINGLE PLAYER. The biggest problem of Broken Arrow has always been and will always be, their absolutely jaw-droppingly amateurish, inexcusably incompetent netcoding. It's such a fundamental original sin of this game.

- no deterministic game simulation in 2025 RTS

- client side trainer cheating in 2025 RTS

- a prowler sometimes kills 2 pantsirs and 2 S-300s, sometimes all of them get intercepted by a tor

game is very timing-intense, hit or miss is determined in 0.1 second basis,

but the netcode is so poorly optimized with no compensation code whatsoever that the game literally has average 1+ second lag from real state vs client state

everything on your screen is a lie, enemy units and your units are all perpetually 1 second ahead of time to the other side's screen.

tank directional armor micro? - ruined

attack ground order? - ruined

tanks shotting through cover - of course

timed smoking to dodge only relevant ATGMs and not waste smoke too early - good luck lmao

This is such a fundamental flaw of this game, and this tragedy is brought upon here because they were so inept and clueless about the basics of RTS development.

what a waste, what a missed opportunity.

disqualifiable, passionless, contemptable, pathetic.

This is what no insight and incompetence does, it wastes everyone's time.

imagine the developers just decided to develop a game just had average, decent netcoding and deterministic pseudo random simulation.

you know, like normal, respectable human beings who are trying to develop RTS games in 2025.

Remember this, always :

Literally RTS games released 20 years ago have much better network coding than BA.

also since some scrubs who are not even good at the game defend this garbage state we are in :

I was one of the handful of people to get 2000 elo first when the game came out, was consistently 2500~2600 after significant elo inflation. I loved both main and PTE and got to top 0.3% in both.

Kinda cringe thing I've noticed about rimworld ranged combat... I'm only annoyed because I think it's easy to solve : just make it calculate darkness penalty based on target tile light level instead of shooter tile light level?

Genuine question (not a troll) : I literally have 0 (ZERO) romantic attachment or admiration for the cheese-making process. What is the most soulless, most mass-produced, most brutally processed and chemicals-ridden cheapest, most efficient cheese I can buy?

Like I said, This is not a joke or ragebait or whatever.

I buy exclusively GMO (I actively reject all non-GMO advertised products) and ultra cheap and processed food out of principle.

I can't stand environment-wrecking food snobs and inefficient traditional practices.

What is the best cheese for me?

I JUST NOW realized windows have separate "power saving" PC option outside of control panel that is "always on" by default. YEARS of inexplicable random 165Hz > 10Hz frame drops on all games and days of stress and pain solved overnight. I WANT MY LIFE BACK. THIS IS CRIMINAL.
