I've mostly bought Chanel and Dior reps before, but lately I've been leaning towards quieter designs, so I decided to give the Loro Piana Extra Bag 23 a try. I wasn't expecting it to become one of the bags I reach for the most, but that's exactly what happened.

The biggest surprise was how lightweight.

From photos I expected something a little bulky, but it's actually comfortable enough to carry for hours without feeling like you're dragging a brick around. The double zipper is also more practical than I thought since you can open the bag from either side.

I also appreciate that the design doesn't attract attention. Most people won't recognize it, which is exactly why I wanted it. It looks refined without screaming "designer," making it an easy everyday bag.

Another thing I noticed after using it for a few days is that it sits nicely whether I'm carrying it by the handle or wearing it on my shoulder. Some structured bags tend to flip around or feel awkward, but this one stays in place.

Wendi actually gave me enough time to compare colors, answered my questions without sending one-word replies, and even pointed out details I hadn't noticed myself. Once everything was confirmed, the process moved exactly as she said it would.

Final thoughts

I bought this thinking it would be an occasional bag, but it's quietly becoming one of my most used pieces. For $223 including shipping, I feel like I got exactly what I paid for, and I'd happily buy another color if MLG releases one I like

I finally got my alma BB and honestly couldn't be more happier with how it went.

I went through Anna (last 4 digits of WA: 1100) and the whole experience was genuinely easy. She was very friendly, responsive, and straightforward: no confusion. Exactly what you want when you're spending real money on a piece like this.

The bag itself? The shape is structured and clean, stitching is neat, and the finish is really close to what you'd expect. The proportions and silhouette are spot on, which was honestly my biggest concern going in based on past experiences.
