Now, I knows dat self-ekspreshun iz most berry impurrtant fur hoomins. Mama usually gibs me many interesting textures fur nuzzles and sniffies, so obviously she express dat she wants snuggles all one-hundred purrcent ob da tiemz. Iz logic, an I pay attenshun to my patient.

So when she wear item ob clothing dat not good fur snuggles, I tells her so, so she can takes it off an we can haz snuggles. (An really. Spikes on her neck! Dat dangerous!) Now she say am rood fur berating her fashion choices a she only sat down to put on her shoes a suddenly had a lap full of cat. Dunno what problem wif dat iz.

Am I rood, tho? Shud I not tell mama when she doin self-ekspreshun wrong?

Very, very new to practicing much of anything. Right now I mostly use tarot and occasionally branch into a sort of bead thing that I think is a sort of sigil craft?

I’m wanting to build an altar but I have three complications: a near complete lack of available horizontal space in my very small apartment, a cat with a sensitive nose (and a sensitive respiratory system of my own, absolutely no incense or oils possible), and absolutely no idea what I’m doing or where to look.

I’m in Berkeley, California, so any actual objects I don’t have, I can get fairly easily. But beyond that, I am without clue.

I’m painting over some flexible refrigerator magnet material, the printed side is a rough, matte vinyl surface. I’d like to maintain the flexibility, and I really don’t want the original printing to make a reappearance.

Advice on sealants is also welcome. I plan to use plain acrylics for this, I think mod podge will work, although if there’s a more uv-resistant option that will maintain flexibility so the magnets can go on cars, I would very much like to know.

By complete beginner I mean “can apply chapstick successfully most of the time”. I am seriously starting from nothing. I do have non-makeup painting experience, but that’s it.

I am also unable to wear foundation (it has to do with area, not ingredients. There is no way around this.), so I’m stuck working with my natural skin tone (so white I could get sunburn from a full moon). I do prefer slightly more masc looks, but I’ll take anything that walks me through how mascara works at this point.

Things that are apparently not evidence of N24:

- exhibiting a clear progression pattern that other people have noticed and mentioned

- not responding to insomnia meds but responding at least a little to circadian rhythm meds

- literally being diagnosed with N24 by a doctor in a different Kaiser region

I have no idea what counts as hard proof, especially if you’re on literally any medication-apparently that makes diagnosis impossible.

Anyway, if you’re in the SF Bay Area and putting up with Kaiser, ask for Dr Marcos. The other doctor (I forget his name) doesn’t believe in circadian rhythm disorders, and will try to catch you out as being off your meds if you have bipolar (I don’t think that was even to do with my sleep, he was so pushy and weird about it that I got the impression he legit doesn’t believe that anyone actually takes their prescribed mood stabilizers.) Dr Marcos will be skeptical unless you can fully free run with no meds, but he’ll at least try to treat it anyway.
