I worry about the people who don't know a ban is coming.

Think about it. They're on their way to work, withdrawals are incoming. "Let me stop at the shop real quick so I can get through work." Only to find out that 7OH is now a schedule 1 substance, and they can't get it anywhere in the country. It's going to be a rough couple of weeks for a lot of people. And imagine the people whose partners or whoever don't know what they've got going on... That's how they have to find out. Oof.

Finally got that nap

Liberating Tsushima from the Mongols is tiring work, but someone's got to do it. After my nap, that is.

Ghost Of Tsushima might actually be the most beautiful game ever made.

It may not be photorealistic, but as far as I'm concerned it's better than photorealistic. I'm also convinced that graphics peaked right around 2020. There was this perfect balance of art direction and fidelity, and better yet, 8 GB of VRAM was enough. Why couldn't we just stop there? And developers can invest all of the time and resources saved on graphics into things that actually matter? Like gameplay, optimization, quests/narrative, etc. Am I crazy for saying that?

Air conditioning in EV doesn't have to turn off any longer

I don't know if you all know this, but apparently the EVs got an update that allows the AC to stay on while making deliveries. It worked for me, and I hope that it will work for you as well.

When you leave the van to make a delivery, apparently you have to take the key fob with you, and you have to close the sliding door.

If you close the sliding door, the AC will stay on. If you leave it open, the AC will still turn off. And when you get a few feet away from the van with the fob in your pocket, the van will beep like it's locking up, but the AC will stay on.

I was legitimately surprised when it actually worked. And thank fuck, because if you're in a neighborhood or apartment complex going door to door/building to building, you might as well not have AC.

The original trilogy, but it's a series...

I could get downvoted to Oblivion for this, but here goes...

The entire creative team behind Andor remakes the original trilogy as a series, but it's structured like season 2 of Andor.

Episodes 1-4 A New Hope

Episodes 5-8 Empire

Episodes 9-12 Return

Just imagine what they could do with it... I'm not saying they need remakes, but just think about it. Unfortunately, I am for sure more likely to get struck by lightning than ever see this happen.

The llano v12 laptop cooling pad is shockingly effective.

My Lenovo 5 with an RTX 4060 and i9 14900hx might as well be a mini furnace. Under a full load it rarely, if ever, dips below 80°, and more often than not runs closer to 90° on both CPU and GPU. With this laptop cooling pad, minus 20° across the board at full power. Is it loud? Uhhhh hundred percent. Was it expensive? Little bit. Do I care? Absolutely not. I have never in 2 years seen this GPU operate in the 50° range until today. If you're worried about thermals and have some spare funds, definitely go for it. Although, if you do some shopping around you may be able to find something cheaper than $100. As long as it has the memory foam gasket and a big ass fan, it will probably do the trick.

Can someone explain to me what is happening?

Ok, I'm gonna try to explain this as best as I can. I play on a Lenovo Legion laptop, 4060 8gb, i9 14900hx with 32gb of RAM, SSD.

If I launch the game normally, 1080p, high settings, DLSS balanced and framegen, I get a really choppy ~100 fps. Playable, but not ideal. If I exit the game, open Nvidia control panel and "optimize settings" it bumps resolution to 1440p, high/epic settings, and I still get a really choppy ~100fps. At this point, if I go into the graphics settings in-game, reduce resolution back to 1080p and set texture and post processing to high instead of epic, gameplay is smooth ~180 FPS until I quit. At which point I have to do it all over again. The fuck is that all about? I'm kind of complaining but not really because it's the only way to smooth out the performance issues. Yeah, it still stutters a bit, but other than that it is smooth.

The right way to take Suboxone tablets?

So I went through quick MD to get suboxone. Needless to say it was a very brief appointment which didn't result in a lot of information. I read online that you shouldn't swallow the saliva that accumulates in your mouth as the tablet dissolves under your tongue. Reason being is that your saliva contains the naloxone which doesn't absorb easily beneath the tongue and is only there to prevent abuse and and nothing more. And by swallowing it you can experience uncomfortable side effects of the naloxone. And by abuse I mean shooting, snorting, etc. Has anyone else heard this or done it themselves? Does it effect the absorbtion of the buprenorphine?

I can deal with the dog food, bottled water, and the kitty litter. But this shit? This is the type of shit that sends me into a blind rage. I swear to christ I could train a brain damaged chimpanzee to put together a route better than Amazon. I shouldn't have to spend any of my time trying to figure how to not finish my route in the dumbest way imaginable.
