Thoughts on the live album What To Look For In Summer?

Just listening to this now properly with headphones. A bit disappointed there wasn't more of a track listing related to each album, and the lack of Tigermilk songs......or the great banter Stuart brings between songs (and during in some points).

That said, the sound is amazing, and love the version of Wrapped Up In Books! It does give me the great vibe during this tour.

Edit: Seems my first listen didn't include the ends of the songs, where Stuart actually speaks. On one a fan asks for I Fought In A War....which they played on the Tigermilk set I saw, and was ecstatic to hear!

Where are the priests, or the clerical class?

Perhaps I'm looking to deep into it, or just missed it Every theocracy I can think of has a very large and visible clergy class. They are the head of all official ceremonies, and are very distinct. All I can recall of this is Commander Judd officiated the wedding at the end of the season, which would have been a key job.

I don't recall seeing any in THT series either (and clearly never read the books)

Anyone start symptoms after a 'scab' in the lower inside corner of eye?

I've been dealing with dry eyes for two years now. The first ophthalmologist spent 18 months stating it was a cataract, only to back track and say I merely needed glasses.

I'm with a new doctor now, and the new one believes it's dry eyes. But looking back, I believe I had a small scab at he corner of my left eye just before symptoms began. I've called the doctors office to let them know, but the didn't react much.

Just curious if anyone else might have had this., or if I'm just crazy. I know it's not shingles (had it in 2011 and since had the double vaccine).

Summary: Could the small scab that I had have led to my dry eyes

Need help identifying this 'training jersey'

Don't recall exactly where or when I got this, assuming it was a Ross find around 2009 or so. Wasn't able to find anything with an image search.

Any ADD specialists in Long Beach?

I have Blue Shield Trio HMO

I was previously receiving care via my primary doctor. He closed his office, and the new doctor's office has stated they won't offer this care (said they aren't trained).

I've been medicated for years, but open to new treatments or ideas. I had my insurance send me a list, but they all have horrible reviews.

Any suggestions?

Someone is using a blow gun on animals in Bluff Heights

I'd prefer not to be specific, but we have a bunch of squirrels around my house. We give them nuts and are pretty protective. Earlier this week I noticed this guy. Though it was a branch, tried to pull it off but it was firmly stuck.

No way this was just something he came across and got stuck with, it had to have been placed with some force....like a blow gun. Luckily it fell out on its own after a day.

That said, there's some creep out there targeting helpless animals.

How do you rank the current tour compared to older shows?

I've been fortunate to see them 5 times now. I was at the Tigermilk Palladium show, and it really hit me hard emotionally. Only complaint was the sound, saw Midnight Oil there a few years back and it was the best I've ever heard (sound quality wise), so sad to see the mix was nowhere near it. Still, might be my favorite.

Otherwise it's likely their first Coachella appearance. I was able to get press passes, so my radio co-host and I were in the photography pit with a small disposable camera next to people with arm length lenses, lol. Was also able to interview Stuart in the private section, just an amazing day.

Just saw this. Anyone have an idea what it is?

Came home to this guy. He had something sticking out of his back that looks like an air dart of some sort. Reverse image searches didn't show anything similar.

I gave him a small pile of almonds to keep him close, was able to get a few fingers on it before he moved, but the grip wasn't tight enough, looks like it's too deep to just pull out.

For those who had to get your work involved with an accommodation, what was done?

I've been dealing with this for a few years, but a year ago it started to have a heavy impact on my work. I can't read small text, and there are days I can't read at all, or it's a huge task. I'm lucky that I've been at my job for a long time, it's almost second nature, but I do make more mistakes, etc.

Last year I had a really bad day and my supervisor mandated I get a doctor's note and work with HR. After all that, the only thing HR did was an ergonomic check and some very slight changes to my work space. In short, nothing that helps.

I'm curious if others had the same experience, or what other options they had at work?

Such messy eaters! Kinda surprised how much they waste, you think they would have evolved to be more economic with food sources.

Having same temparature issue/question I had with my old S22 Ultra

There's one specific game (Crunch Time) that has extra moves with watching an ad. After about 20 minutes the screen gets darker and I can feel the heat radiating off the top. It was the exact same thing on my S22 Ultra. I don't have the temps, but concerned that a 'new high end phone' is doing the same thing.

Anyone else, or suggestions?

This might be more of an android question/issue. Had the S22 Ultra before this, notifications where where 'B' is. Now they're at the top, and really hard to see. Not only due to the location, but the icons are smaller.

Is there a setting that will move them to the 'B' location?
