Is there an automated way to transfer a large amount of .md files to .typ?

I have all of my school notes in markdown from obsidian but am heavily considering switching to typst, as it seems like it has many many more features and would better integrate in the future with websites and other forms of distribution for other projects as well.

Wondering if there is a simple way to get the md syntax translated before I make some of my own changes to the docs with some more of the typst specific features.

Thanks all!

Tools, apps and plugins to make life better?

I'm coming off of arch, moving to nix. A big part of the change has been making my system very connected and fluid, while still being lightweight and stable.

Curious what apps some of you recommend I try.

Thanks all!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask for this; I'm trying to find a casual style, but have always had 0 style sense/cared about what I wear.

Title says it all, but heres some background information:

I'm a teen, age 15.
I like wearing jeans but all of mine are kinda trashed because I wear them to work (physical labor) and now they look pretty trashy.
I want to avoid being a 'pajama pants and fluffy hair' guy.
I know absolutely nothing about this.

Thanks everyone!

Velocity Shaders: Issues with water

by messing around with settings, i found the problem to be the shoreline foam setting. even though it is off, the 'foam' still appears, and can be edited with the density parameter. A brief look online did not return any results, does anyone have the same problem or a solution?

How do you guys check the charge of an AC system?

I'm an apprentice, and I have been using the check and charge mobile app on my phone, following suit of some of my more experienced co-workers. I really do not like how many of the inputs have to be rounded quite a lot (pressures to the nearest 5-10 psi, temperatures to the nearest 2 degrees, etc).

Is there a better app/better way to do this to get exact subcool/superheat numpers quickly?

Just got my first set of tools, what do you guys think?

I just got my own tools (scrounged up from spares around the shop, hand-me-downs from my father, bought a couple new things, and a couple old things from a co-worker)
- Not pictured here: Aviation snips (R, L, Straight) and a Seamer

I'm very new to the trade, I started as an apprentice at the beginning of this month, working in my mother's shop (I am 15).

What tools would you recommend I add to my collection?
Any questions about models or specifics about the equipment, please ask away!

Thanks a bunch!

Starting out in hvac as a teen (15), what are some of your best tips for me?

My mother owns a small shop in the midwestern US, I've been helping out where I can and going along for service/maintenance calls. I understand the core concepts of the trade, and can figure a lot of stuff out on my own, although I rarely have to due to amazing co-workers teaching me everything i need to know.

Currently, I can do an A/C tune up on my own, use all the needed tools (gauges, power tools, meter, etc) effectively, and help with installs.

I just got my own tools (scrounged up from spares around the shop, hand-me-downs from my father, bought a couple new things, and a couple old things from a co-worker), see (here)[https://www.reddit.com/r/HVAC/comments/1ufwoni/just_got_my_first_set_of_tools_what_do_you_guys/]

Any questions, or needed information, please ask!

Thanks in advace!

Steelseries Moments: How to import clipse (mp4) from another clipping software (Medal)?

I have been using medal to clip all of my games up until recently and was hoping to get all of the clips imported to Steelseries in the software suite, but cant find a way. Pasting the files in to the clip directory does not work, presumbly because of the naming but reformatting the names does not change anything. Anyone know how to import other MP4?

2 photos in 1 4x6 print; help

I have a photo book with only 4x6 horizontal slots, but some photos that I want to add are vertical. A friend came up with the idea to 'splice' 2 photos side by side into a single print and put them in one slot in the photo book together.

What software would be best for this purpose? Image quality preservation is important to me.

Thanks in advance!
