what to do if I’ve captured a feral cat

I have a feral cat who I fed through my window from October of last year to April of this year. I had to stop because he’d come up on my windowsill at random times, which made one of the cats I live with extremely extremely aggressive (he’s nicked veins in my hands and attacked my cat, who is tiny and a massive pushover so I worry for her when this happens). However, I still see the feral cat and it makes me sick that I’m not helping him.

He’s looked sick for a few months now. I’ve written every local rescue (Ridgewood Rescue, Bushwick Street Cats, and PuppyKittyNYC) for help with catching him multiple times and heard nothing back. I want to catch him myself but I can’t keep him in my house for more than a few hours (and even that’s pushing it) and every resource I find says to contact TNR groups upon rescue- how the fuck do I do that if they don’t reply!

I’m especially worried because I’m trying to move out of this apartment but don’t want to leave a pretty friendly cat (and yes, I’ve told each rescue that he seems very friendly) sick and hungry in my yard. I’ve signed up for the TNR certification seminar from Neighborhood Cats but that’s in 20 days and I really want to help him as soon as I can. Pic of him attached.

hairdresser left bleach in my hair for three hours... is that normal?

I went to get my hair bleached a few weeks ago- the lengths had previously been processed-- I got salon highlights one year ago, salon hi lift color a month later, and tried a second hi lift a month or so ago (it only took in a few spots). I had cut my hair and done numerous K18 treatments afterwards so the hair behaved and felt almost entirely healthy. The stylist was entirely aware of previous processing.

This latest time getting my hair done, my stylist left bleach in my ends for 45 minutes before noting that they looked fully processed and squeezing some off with a towel. The ends were still saturated with bleach and she took another two hours before rinsing anything out. I heard from one stylist that it's more on me and from another that she should've done the lightening in sessions.

While I get that I had previously processed my hair (so results would never be amazing), my stylist also knew this and still had my ends come out white- many levels higher than what would've been necessary for the color I requested and also worrying because my hair previously was a dark dark red. I'm honestly a little pissed off because I paid a lot (and it was an apprentice colorist) and the lift we went to was really platinum when I wanted a darker beige caramel color. I've since cut it as well as done more K18 and a protein treatment but honestly I feel humiliated going outside because my curl pattern is entirely gone and I can't look remotely presentable unless I have the hair pulled back in some frizzy bun or spend over an hour blowdrying and reblowdrying it (I have to go slower now to try and reduce potential heat damage).

Also my scalp is dry and kinda slightly sandy now?

LOOKING FOR A ROOM/SUBLET- $1350 budget, July 15th - Aug 1st move in, have 1 cat

Hi everyone! I'm a painter, ceramicist, and full time nonprofit employee looking for a room starting either mid-July or August.

A bit about what I'm looking for- Sublet-to-lease, month-to-month, or yearly lease. $1350 max budget (not including utilities), apartment must be pet friendly (no dogs please), preferably around Prospect Park/ in or near Flatbush (or just any part of BK near the F, G, or yellow train lines). 1-2 roommates. In unit laundry and train accessibility are important to me! In a dream world I'd have a private bathroom but it really depends on what's available!

About me: 25F. I work a 9-5 in Gowanus and am pretty quiet. I paint with oils in my room (using a vegetable based solvent, no fumes and entirely nontoxic), knit, and occasionally play guitar. I'd like to decorate the common space to be homey- nice lamps, furniture, art on the walls- and I'm very clean as well- I would hopefully take turns with or collaboratively clean the common spaces with my roommates. Also, I have a little dishware set I've made for myself and would bring to my next apartment- I'm going to start making lamps and such too so expect cute lighting and dishware!

I have a 1 year old cat and would be welcome to living with another cat (or lizard, I grew up with both) she could befriend-- she's very gentle, kind of a pushover, and we currently live with a pretty food motivated aggressive cat so it's a bit tough. I'd love to live with people who are within a 7 year range of my age. I am social and would love to get along with the people I live with, though if we're just acquaintances that's okay too :)

What do I use to take bleach blonde to a natural light copper

Long story short: my virgin hair was dark brown, I got it highlighted last June, went purple red last August, got it bleached the second of this month, and am deeply regretting it. It feels fine for the most part- it’s also received a couple rounds of K18 and a protein treatment- but I just cannot stand the look of it so I’m trying to find a natural looking copper color to put on top.

I’m leaning towards the Wella Color Charm ( maybe in the shade 7W, just with a 10vol developer instead of 20) but their packaging makes it absurdly difficult to tell if something is going to be red or just another shade of blonde. I’ve also been looking at dye depositing masks but they’re all either too dark or too orange. I feel like options are strangely limited for this shade of copper? It’s likely that I’ll just go to a sally beauty to see the little hair samples but I would greatly appreciate any and all advice- thank you!

how to take this to a muted copper?

I got my hair bleached and toned two weeks ago and realized I fucking hate being blonde. It’s a bit damaged so I’m sparingly applying K18 and protein treatments to strengthen it but was wondering if there was any way I could get this muted natural copper tone at home? Everything I find seems to be bright orange or borderline brown + I don’t know abt how new colors would mix with the hair I currently have bc I’ve never done a natural color at home before. All advice welcomed! Thank you!
