I have a real soft spot for crappy, knockoff toys, so every Norwegian independance day I take great joy in finding the diamonds in the rough.

Saw a post somewhere about the best "poor man's food" and a grilled cheese was mentioned, and now all day I've been craving.

With that in mind, I present to you the Rags to Riches grilled cheese.

BBQ sauce, processed cheddar, and boiled ham on one side; Dijon, Castello, and Italian sausage on the other; joined by a layer of gouda smeared with spicy fried onions.

Coat the bread in mayo with salt and pepper, into a pan preheated medium-low. Let sit with lid on, flip after about 7 and re-cover for about 5.

Served with salad.

Best damn thing I've eaten all week.
