Hemp ban discussion, teach me!

I have read quite a bit about it. And maybe I'm confused.

I understand that people won't be able to buy the hemp produced THC edibles (that was obviously a loophole)... But how will this affect my ordering of CBD flower from the states away? Just 1 g of CBD flower still contains more THC then the 0.4 allowed per container. . So is that it for smokable flower!

Will insurance pay MMJ card? MassHealth

I have one of the disabilities that 100% qualifies. Just seeing if I can somehow get around paying. I have Medicaid and Medicare, receive SSDI, and am permanently disabled. Recently moved to town where there is a medical store but the closer recreational store is a few times over.

Wet wipes and washcloth options

Using baby wipe style wet cloths really helps me with hygiene when not being able to shower often enough.

I don't like the optics of having a Pampers wet wipes container with me. And it's even worse with the depends washcloths container. I certainly don't want to overpaid for the premium bro style wipes, dude wipes.

Rust proofing old frame? Worth it? Tedious?

This post might get a little nonsensical.

I would not be doing this myself but finding a reputable shop or something to do it. I live in the rust belt and would buy a rust-free XJ from many states away... Figured the first thing to do would be to completely protect the frame. Besides that I would just take it through car washes after a week of driving through snow/salt.

I really miss and think very positively of my '97 TJ 4.0 5 speed beauty. It was the perfect vehicle for someone in their 20s. I am now in my 40s and have no business owning an unreliable Jeep, a project car, or really anything two-door. Was looking at unmodified and unmolested Cherokees from the south.

Do people do what I'm thinking? Does it make any more sense than buying something local and doing an entire frame restoration? I may be able to find something around here that already has a bed coated frame - but then I'm trusting that the individual that coded it did so with not a speck of rust underneath that coating. I don't trust people :-).

What is the ballpark cost I'd be looking at?

Also, I'm drooling looking at the photos of Jeeps for sale in rust-free states. God bless the random North Carolina dealership that took a dozen photos of the clean frame. I used the term drooling because I didn't want to get gross and graphic. Oh well. So jealous.

Resources for obtaining Walker/rollator

I rely on a four-wheel rollator that insurance purchased for me. I also snagged a second one off marketplace to keep on a different level of the house.

The three-wheel rollators are not sturdy but so much lighter and easier to transport. Wanted to get one but not loving the idea of spending $100. Only one on marketplace less than 50 bucks is ancient, heavy, and barely folds.

Local senior center only has four wheel rollators. On Monday I will be calling the neighboring town's senior center and asking them if they have one to spare, but even if they say yes I will need to send my father to pick it up since I am not elderly. I don't love being dishonest.

Any creative ideas of where I should look for one?

I found a really good deal on a new one for $30 but it would ship from China and I'm not even sure how legit the company / website is ... Plus 30 days shipping.

Choices: Honda fit, mazda2, mazda3

My sister is looking to buy a car in Xalapa MX. I'm the car person in the family but am 2000 miles away and some of the models available there are not The ones I am familiar with. Also dealing with kilometers and pesos, so I'm trying not to be too confused. Told her no matter what she needs to get a pre-purchase inspection. But I did narrow these down in her price range.

Honda Fit 2017. $209,000, 73K kilometers.

Honda fit 2018. 223,000, 127K kilometers.

Mazda2. 2021. 215,000, 89K kilometers.

Mazda3 2018 202,000, 135k kilometers.

Mazda3 2017. $200,000, 120K kilometers.

I am a Toyota fanboy, but given the Toyota tax there really is not much there. Figure the Mazda 2 is just like the Yaris and I've definitely heard good things about the Honda fit. I've also had good experience with the Mazda 3 but I'm not familiar with those years. There is a Prius with reasonable miles and price, but it is the dreaded third generation model.

Overdoing exercise?

My mobility has deteriorated significantly over the past few months, I barely walk with a walker and really need a wheelchair to get around.

Because of insurance, I've not had physical therapy in a number of months, and I'm only starting it back up in 2 weeks.

Meanwhile I have been going to a local pool and doing walking and other self-directed exercises in the pool. It has been great. But I'm wondering if I'm doing it too much.

Sometimes I'm doing it 4 days in a row. My non-disability mind is thinking that since my heart rate is not getting up that it's okay to do it consecutively. But should I be doing more rest days?

It is mentally better for me to be exercising a lot in the pool but I continue to worsen.

Thoughts?

I have a degenerative disease and it has pretty quickly escalated from a cane, to a walker, and now to the use of a wheelchair sometimes. Though I still use a walker most of that time, I know that a wheelchair will be in my future.

My current home is very non-handicap accessible and modifying it would be an option but at the same time I also want to move closer to family.

Had been looking at homes that have at least one bedroom on the ground level, but now my father / caregiver is asking if maybe we should just be okay with a second floor bedroom and installing a chair stairlift.

I don't love the idea as much but also understand that this would open up a lot more housing options. I also don't like the optics, for the same reason that I was very hesitant to start using a rollater etc.

Please give me your thoughts and experiences.
