Am i doing something wrong? First it says there’s a 7-day free trial then it’s $8.99 a month. I connect my bank account THEN i get a screen that says “today ends your trial it’s $8.99 now,” and tries to charge my card.

ALSO it charged me the $1 activation fee and sent me an email saying i was activated and now it’s $3.99/month for instant access to my wages.

SO WHICH IS IT $3.99 OR $8.99??!! and why am i not getting the free trial??!! bullshit :(

Every now and again I’ll search cash advance in the app store and sometimes a new app or one i’ve never heard of will come up.

When trying to login, the app is still using my old phone number for the MFA despite the fact that that number isn’t even associated with that account anymore— I changed it in my info in the account. There is no live support for employees and my employer says if i changed the # in my account then that’s the one the MFA should be going to.

Sooooo how can I access my account, now? I urgently need to get into it.

I probably already know the answer to this but hey you never know unless you ask.

Is there some other avenue for getting in contact with support besides the chat feature in the app, or the email?

I have two debit cards linked to my account, the one that I need to be the default is the secondary card that I added. According to support there is no way for the user to make this change, it has to be done on their end.

I started a chat with support LAST NIGHT at like 5:30pm est about making that change. At first they responded quickly and said that i would first need to add the second card. I responded that I’d already done so and that card ending #### needs to be the new default. They responded by asking me for a SECOND time if i’d added my new card/bank details. I said yes again. By this time it was about 7pm est, and I just stopped receiving responses. (which yes i realize most support chats have offline hours.)

This morning at about 10:45am est, I received a response to my last message asking me to upload a screenshot of the “manage card” tab in my account. I did so, and asked how much longer it might take.

It is now 2:20pm est, and I have not received any response to my last message. The top of the chat shows the name of the “agent” assisting me and says they were last active 3 hours ago. There is no option to actually end this chat, nor to begin another one, which I was hoping to do in order to maybe get assigned to a different agent that is maybe actually working today.

This shit is so super annoying… it’s a good thing they don’t require users to subscribe to a plan in order to qualify for/receive advances (not that those apps have better support they’re often just as slow and just as unhelpful tbh), because if that were the case I’d have been cursing someone out at this point.

so… I (42F) have been involved in an FWB-ship (emphasis on the “friends” part) with 28M since early November 2025. I didn’t want anything else, not a fling or one time thing but also not just a f*ck buddy. I wanted someone that I could, in addition to the fun physical stuff, also just laugh, hang out, and have a conversation with. And so far, by and large, this has been exactly that…

…except. According to him I am the oldest partner he’s ever had by quite a long shot. So I don’t necessarily blame him for maybe not knowing exactly how to “take” or respond to an assertive woman who knows exactly what she wants and doesn’t, likes and dislikes, especially where sex is concerned. And don’t get me wrong— the sex is fantastic. When we are together in person he is generous, attentive, eager and enthusiastic. All very good things in my book.

If you’ve made it this far you’re wondering what on earth it is that i could possibly be complaining about with this situation. and that’s completely valid. part of me feels like i am seeking something he just isn’t able to provide… we’ve gotten pretty close friendship wise, and text back and forth pretty much all day every day. just BSing, sharing music, bitching about work, exchanging funny videos, blah blah. But anytime I try to be flirty with him via texts— whether it’s more subtle or more outright overtly sexual— it’s like he turns into a little boy on a playground, picking on a girl because he has a crush on her. I know he doesn’t do it maliciously, I really think he thinks he’s kind of “teasing” me in a way… but i’m not a fan of the little “hard to get act,” the purposely antagonizing me while i’m over here expressing my attraction to him, my desire to see him again soon, all that good stuff.

and yes i have expressed already to him that when he does that kind of stuff over more than just maybe a teasing text or two, it really does sometimes make me feel like he doesn’t really actually enjoy my company all that much. like i’m having to beg someone for their affection and boy let me tell you that shit will NEVER happen again in my lifetime.

idk. i don’t even really know why i’m posting this. it’s just been on my mind the last few days. i just want him to reciprocate my energy, damn it! hell not even 100% of the time just every now and again would be fine by me. but then i also don’t want him to do anything he doesn’t actually want to do himself. i want him to be authentically him, i don’t want a ruse put on for my benefit. (and again it isn’t that i think he genuinely doesn’t enjoy my company or the type of relationship we have… but hey i’m only human, okay? insecurities are part and parcel.)

I know Google says that ACH deposits do not EVER post/show up in bank accounts on weekend days (so Saturday & Sunday) since the Federal Reserve is only open M-F… but is that truly 100% accurate? Asking because.. well foolish hope for one lol but also I could SWEAR that a reimbursement from my job has shown up in my account on a weekend day before, and those are ACH deposits.. I’m currently waiting on one now and I could RRRREEEEEAAAAALLLLYYYYY use it today so. Like i said, foolish hope 🤣😭🤷‍♀️

(if it makes any difference my bank is one of those “get paid up to 2 days early” ones, and it’s my understanding that they do that by going ahead and immediately releasing direct deposits into accounts instead of waiting the customary period of time for them to clear the depositor’s bank. My check only shows up a day early but that’s just down to when they send the actual deposit info through, I assume.)

Anyway.. I probably deserve to be ribbed for this post and that’s fine but PLEASE do not be mean to me, this has been the worst weekend i’ve had in a hot minute. :(
