Almost got scammed buying used locked macbook, always reset the device before buying

Always reset and fully set up the macbook before buying used macbooks.
I found an m4 max for $1.5k, the deal was way too good to be true. The macbook was fully reset upon meetup, it had no profiles in the system and no enrollment in terminal and mac looked brand new and fully reset. I decided to reset the macbook and again got nothing suspicious got no notifications of mdm or icloud even after connecting to the internet. I paid the seller and while he was counting the cash i started setting up the mac, then pam, i got an mdm message that the mac belongs to a tech company. I took my money back gave him the macbook back and left.
I almost bought a brick for $1500.
The weird thing is i reset the macbook and connected it to the internet but got no messages or indications of mdm. But when i started setting it up i got the remote management message after couple of seconds.
According to the seller he also reset the MacBook couple of minutes before meet up and got no messages of mdm or icloud.
So be careful buying used MacBooks.

The seller was full of red flags thats why i made sure to fully inspect the macbook, if he was a little smarter i would’ve trusted him and he would’ve got me

Asus tuf rtx 4070 i7 13th gen

Mother board was swapped 2 days ago, I thought the temp would be better but I don't see them improving.

So this is my 2nd mother board replacement(in warranty) asus is refusing to replace the laptop for some reason. When I use mid-high demand program, my cpu temp spike to 95-96c, gpu reaches high 80s. I thought because I got a new motherboard my temps would be lower, but it's alot higher. Doesn't matter how heavy or small the game is cpu temp spikes to 96c and stays there

Is it safe to use

I have rtx 4070 and i7-13th gen
