[TOMT][Movie or show][90s to current] Young girl survives flood/electrocution by climbing on kitchen countertop

This was in a movie or show that I saw in the last couple of years, but it could have been older, like 90s.

A young girl is the sole survivor of her family. Their house flooded in a storm, and she had climbed up on the kitchen countertop. Her family was sitting on the couch. A power line fell into the water and electrocuted her whole family, but she survived because she wasn't touching the water like they were.

I don't think it was a horror movie, this was just the tragic backstory of an adult character who has survivor's guilt.

I think the girl and her family were Asian, Hispanic, or Middle Eastern.

[TOMT] [Painting] [1500s-1700s]Scandalous portrait of girl with messy hair

I am trying to recall a painting that I saw in a museum a few years ago. It was famous enough that I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about! Here's what I remember:

-The musem where I saw it may have been the Huntington Library in Pasadena

-It was probably from the 1500s-1700s

-It was a commissioned portrait of the teenage daughter from a wealthy family

-It was considered very scandalous, because instead of an idealized portrait as was the style at the time, the artist had portrayed the girl as she really was: a spirited teenager whose hair was messy from running around outside.

-I believe the girl was blond, smiling, and had a few tufts of hair loose. I am sure that she was outdoors.

-It is similar in style to the portrait of Dido Elizabeth Belle by David Martin, and similarly makes it clear that the subject is a fun goofball

Scandalous ~1700s portrait of girl with messy hair

I hope it's OK to ask for help remembering a painting that I don't have an image of. It was famous enough that I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about! Here's what I remember:

Some of the best salsa I've made

Ingredients:

2 large heirloom tomatoes

1/2 white onion

4 tomatillos

1/3 manzano chile

1 yellow Anaheim chile which actually had zero heat (basically a large sweet pepper)

3 cloves garlic

1 ancho chile and 1 California chile pod, dried and reconstituted with boiling water

Cilantro, 1/2 bunch

Kosher salt

Juice of 1 lime

I popped the first 6 ingredients in the broiler for 10-15 minutes until they appeared as in the 2nd photo. Then I let it cool and put it in the food processor with the remaining ingredients. Very flavorful, mild, fruity, great depth of flavor!

I have a bunch of tools, but I am really more of a car guy. I want to fix this because it's almost *too* comfortable the way you sink into it. Turned it over and found two beams broken in different ways. What would be the best course of action here?
