Hi everyone! I just had a quick question for those that invest with Chase.

I am looking to open up a brokerage and slowly contribute to that account and build up to 5k to avoid worrying about minimums in my checking accounts.

For those that do this is there a minimum you need to buy VUSXX or can I purchase it in 5 dollar increments like everything else?

I never actually went to DFC and want to start getting exercises in. I saw there were group fitness classes through fitness pass.

Does our student life fee cover that or I have to pay extra?

Also any class recommendations? I’m looking for a full body workout🙂

I’m looking into taking the Heritage Spanish placement test  and wanted to get some insight from anyone who has already taken it. I speak Spanish at home/with family, but my formal reading and writing skills are definitely a bit rusty. For those who have taken it is it an easy A? Obviously I know I'll have to put in some work, but is the grading pretty forgiving for heritage speakers?

What’s the class format like? Is it mostly focused on grammar drills, essays, presentations, or group discussions? How heavy is the workload?

Also, a quick question about the foreign language core requirement…do heritage speakers need to complete 4 semesters of Spanish, or does this track fulfill the requirement in just 2 semesters? I've heard conflicting things about how the placement and core credits work for this specific track.

Essentially what the title says. I am looking for a position that is more laid back and allows me to get work done and isn't too stressful.

Discover it (first card)
Apple card
Chase freedom unlimited
Capital one savor
Capital one ventureone (sock drawered for transfer partners)

Im looking to most likely cancel the chase freedom unlimited. Im not really a big fan of the card and dont use it. I’m looking to also cancel the Apple card and replace it with a 2% card.

Im looking to get the amex business plus card. But here’s a problem…i know capital one is merging with discover and eventually those cards will run on discover network.

Should i be concerned that ill basically have 3 cards on discover network and 1 on amex? I dont have any visa or mastercards. Should I maybe consider a different card other than the Amex?

I am looking into a program that has two separate campuses. Sometimes the lecturer is on campus and other times the lecturer is on the other campus live and students at the other campus have a live zoom cast.

Is this something I should watch out for or it's fine?

Hello everyone! I am looking to join Affinity and wanted to get some reviews from the people that have been customers here. I currently bank with Chase and I am not a big fan of their products so I am slowly making the switch over to a credit union.

- Are there any issues that you have encountered over the years?

- I am looking at their products and they have a lot of monthly requirements what happens if you don't hit it?

- is it easy to become a member? I am a student that graduated from Rutgers. Do I need a specific link or referral to be approved for membership?

- I saw they have a smart savings account does anyone have this and know if I can use this kinda like a DIY high yields checking? It says there's Zelle, direct deposit, unlimited transactions...

I currently bank with Chase and their fees/high minimums are starting to really annoy me. I am looking to maybe start my relationship with a credit union. Are there things I should be looking out for? Having Zelle is something that is also important for me since I use it to immediately send money to myself from one account to another account.

I’m not sure if my money is in the right areas. Most of it is in my Roth and 401k rn.

I have a rough outline on what I wanted to talk about. I wanted to bring up my upbringing, being the oldest sibling, where I grew up and working at my parent's business growing up. Then afterwards I wanted to talk about my college experience and my PCE job. Finally wrap it up and talk about my hobbies.

My path to why I was interested in medicine really started with an interest in middle school and high school with science classes. Should I mention that or talk about what I learned working my PCE job and how that confirmed my interest without going into too much detail? Should I mention that I was in initially started off as Pre-Pharmacy?

My main question is I dont want my answers to tell me about yourself to take away from my why PA answer.

Has anyone ever been in my position? I’m a CC student and I made my mind to take bio at Barnard.

However due to my unideal registration time I am on the waitlist. Is it easy to get off of the waitlist? I was told by the prof I am number 2 on the waitlist.

Is this a course that people will drop? I’ve been trying to maintain contact with the prof to get into the course.

I’m a premed student that plans on taking a gap year. Next semester I’m taking 18 credits and I feel behind about research.

I was wondering how one goes about getting research? Are any summer programs available so I can do that full time? I’m not from NY but I live in NJ.

I know cold emailing is always talked about but where can I find researchers/labs? If anyone is doing clinical research at the med school how did you get that as an undergraduate?

I couldn’t find any info on culpa for CC profs. Can some upperclassman post who their profs were and what they thought abt the course?
