Hi I'm on 40, mgs. So tired during day - hard to keep eyes open. What can I take during the day that is not addictive? In recovery so can't take methylphenidate or amphetamines - modafanil etc

So what am I doing wrong? I called axia they gave me the name of 2 pharmacies in Miami. I called them gave them the ndc number and name of med. Both said they could not get it

Am I stating things incorrect? Do I need to fly to Virginia? Seems to be everywhere there lol, idk but it would be cool to be back in it bc it worked thx

I was on an maoi for a long time, I tried this multiple times over the years - and I always felt that they gave me anxiety and made me sleep really bad. Usually I would find that I would go to sleep then wake up 5-10 mins after going to sleep then repeat that throughout the night. Anxiety seemed to get worse too.

Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them??

I wouldn't put it past me to have it be self inflicted / not related but I sure did do many trials bc the glp 1 worked for weight loss. Tirzepatide was the one I was on mostly

When I was on marplan I was on tirzepatide. It helped a lot with weight loss, but my anxiety seemed to be a lot worse, this was trialed multiple times over a couple yrs on and off. It also seemed to mess w my sleep, I would wake up a lot more esp while just recently falling asleep. I don't have sleep apnea - do have nocturnal panic- idk would really like to go on the newer one but nervous. Just wanted to ask the group - thanks

I'm on parnate 30. I cannot go higher bc it raises my heart rate too much. Dr Gillman said add Nardil a small dose. Those who have done this or other augments - (not tcas) - how helpful was it?

If I can't get marplan I need another route

Has anyone gotten marplan in the states? Apparently it's avail again but I cannot for the life of me find it. I'm in Florida

Like does Canada have it? India? Etc? Just got out of the e r from parnate causing tachchardia that then led to an inflammation of some part of the heart so super enjoyed that one.

Has anybody done well with this medication for panic and depression? Was on marplan - was most helpful. Now I'm on parnate and cannot wake up during day for the life of me. Should I try switching to selegeline or give parnate another month? I remember this daytime sleep issue w Nardil and couldn't tolerate it either

For people that have been on multiple maois what has been their experience w efficacy and side effects?

Nardil for me had most side effects - obliterated depression and anxiety but hypo mania for sure and hypomania - reversed my sleep sched

Marplan - cleanest, not many side effects at all. Helpful w depression for sure. Did not help my anxiety / panic at all however

Have not taken selegeline

On parnate now- having tachychardia and no ortho hypotension. Now sleeping off and on thru the day

I'm still early on with parnate but desperately seeking another maoi- marplan was helpful but not avail. Is selegeline helpful for people? Ssris and Snris do nothing for me

I was on Nardil about 20 yrs ago- would get crazy daytime sleepiness. Then stay up all night. Now on parnate and praying that's not the case. Did not get with marplan

Hi - I'm in 40 mgs, started about a month ago. No orthostatic hypotension which for me is different gotten it very quick w the other maois.

Anyone else had this happen to them? And did it mean I'm not in high enough dosage or it's just i have heard ortho hypo means it's working - instead i just have high heart rate

For those who have been on parnate and it was helpful for depression but not so much anxiety (also looking to hear from people where anxiety was helped by parnate), has anyone added buspar or low dosage Nardil?

I'm too early into it - 40 mg about 5 weeks later, but pretty desperate- so constantly looking for solutions. Other question- anyone not gotten orthostatic hypo w parnate? I have gotten it w every other maoi except this one, opposite actually- elevated heart rate
