Stop this ASAP, it's not fun!!
If you ever get even a single thought like, 'Let's just try it once, what’s the worst that could happen?' just stop right there. Those totos are carrying actual passengers. Someone needs to get to school, college, the office, or even a hospital on time. For the drivers, that vehicle is their livelihood. I understand the frustration people have because of these drivers and their behaviour, but if the vehicle suddenly breaks down out of nowhere, it could even cause a serious accident. You just never know. So, the moment you feel like doing it 'just for fun,' check yourself and stop
Jharkhand doesn't exist.....it’s just a government-funded myth, a glitch in the simulation, and a total piece of propaganda designed to keep us all in this collective delusion.
From Building GamoteX to Fighting Paralysis: 18 Months in Bed, My 70-Year-Old Mother, and Why I’m Still Refusing to Give Up
Hello Reddit Family,
Two years ago, if someone had told me I would one day be writing a post like this, I would never have believed it.
My name is Soumya Chakraborty (40M, Murshidabad, India).
What I’ve learned since: “Life is unpredictable - and it’s precious.”

Life once meant startups, biking, and chasing big dreams.
Before January 2023, life was movement.
I was building GamoteX, my Web3 gaming startup, which was fortunate enough to receive recognition including:
🏆 Top 5 Startup – British Deputy High Commission & CII
🏆 Top Gaming Startup – Silicon India
🏆 Emerging Company – Indian Achievers Forum
I was traveling across India, riding through Leh, Darjeeling, Meghalaya, and chasing the dream every founder knows, building something meaningful.
Then everything changed.
The Accident
A car accident caused a severe spinal cord injury, leaving me largely paralyzed from the waist down.
One day I was building a company.
The next I was in a hospital bed at Fortis, unable to sit up without help.
For 18 months, life became:
Hospital beds
Startup shut down
₹18,00,000 of lifetime savings exhausted
I sold assets, liquidated gold & mutual funds
Many friends and colleagues slowly disappeared
And while I was still trying to recover... life hit again.
A Second Blow - Ankylosing Spondylitis
In March 2024, doctors at the Institute of Neurosciences diagnosed me with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), a chronic autoimmune condition attacking my spine.
To continue treatment and prevent worsening immobility:
💉 Scapho injections: ₹20,000/month
🧘 Physiotherapy: ₹500/session (twice daily)
"My Mother" The Person Who Never Left
My father passed away 11 years ago.
My 70-year-old mother became everything:
- caregiver
- nurse
- emotional support
- and the person who refused to let me quit
Despite her age and health challenges, she still kept fighting beside me.

Why I’m Still Fighting
I lost my health.
I lost my startup.
I lost the life I once knew.
But I haven’t lost hope.
I still want to:
>Walk again
Support my mother
Rebuild and create again

No Network
I live in a Tier 2 city and I'm facing no network at my home. At first this used to happen just inside my parents room and was fine in my room. But today morning I noticed I'm getting No network not even 3G. I tried changing sim to other phones and still No network. Vi has fked up my life.
My Mom loves Piracy
My mom has been watching all her shows through my DIY home server for a while now because she's over the whole subscription thing. Everything was fine until she accidentally deleted her patched YouTube app and replaced it with the official Play Store version.
She lasted about five minutes with the ads before she started complaining. Then i got her back on a patched build using Morphe.
And btw her phone is running on Custom ROM so Xiaomi bloatwares!!
