Advice for iGPU 780M. Was it a mistake to buy this mini PC ? Getting many memory faults and crashes.

Currently models are crashing.

Also note I'm a little bit over my head right now as I'm just getting my feet wet with GPU and model architecture. Most of this help comes from AI.

It doesn't seem like there's support for my iGPU. I found this issue on GitHub which makes me believe I made a mistake in buying this mini PC.

Hardware:

Model I'm working with: Qwen 3.8 27b q4m

Minisforum UM890 Pro

Ryzen 9 8945HS

Radeon 780M iGPU (gfx1103)

64GB DDR5-5600

OCuLink PCIe 4.0 x4 available

Ubuntu

Flash Attention causes GPU memory faults, while disabling it causes rocBLAS/Tensile gfx1103 kernel errors.

Vulkan works, but is slow.

Building my own llama.cpp seems suboptimal if I'm wanting tried and tested Builds.

Considering selling and buying a mac studio.

Thoughts?

Currie is Dark - complete power outage

From Crowchild to Sarcee Road it's completely black. No Street lights or power to houses since about 3am.

Enmax doesn't have this registered as a power outage on their outage tracker yet.

Anyone know what happened?

Build a sabre? Would I regret it? (50yo)

So half of me wants to and half of me thinks there's something better to spend my money on. (Or maybe do both?)

Is this light sabre build something anyone regrets doing? I think the droid build is probably disappointing.

I'm leaning on other unique experiences. Is there a crazy tie fighter simulator or x-wing simulator that would give me a memory for similar price?

Are there any experiences that outclass bringing home a light sabre?

Calgary /Canada recreational flights. Where do you fly your minis?

Realizing this is Reddit and most answers will be of people that probably don't even own a drone I'll risk asking.

My only flights right now are of my roof (recently people have flamed others for this) or straight up above my house for sunset / skyline / community photos.

Someone could argue these could be illegal here.

Calgary has a law you can fly in any park with "cut grass". If it's not banned for other reasons. (Ie no North Glenmore park).

Where do you fly?

Income shows in planning. But in Foundation it's zero for several years in retirement.

Seems like there's a bug?

I have been tweaking a few variations with a goal of a 120k income and to retire at 57.

This leaves me with a huge estate and without kids to pass it down to I think I could be more aggressive in my retirement age.

But the income thing is throwing off my confidence that the platform and my data entry is accurate.

Is my plan broken?

My mom recently loaned my step daughter the old Q7.

We just took it out to dinner and the weather is really nice.

But...

The drivers side seat heater is stuck on.

I can't seem to find a chart that will surely tell me which fuse I need to pull without affecting the power seat functionality.

Any chance someone can help me identify which fuse to pull and help us get home without being sweaty?
