Is Biocomputing Ethical?

I recently learned about biocomputing, using neurons and brain tissues/ cells to help teach/ support comupters be more efficient i think. I saw some of the comments arguing about if this was ethical or not. I assumed it was okay since tissues dont have consciousness, and it would help with saving energy and stuff. But now im thinking maybe its not so ethical, im not really educated in this part.

Starting off snr year rough

Basically long story short: theres friend A,B,C,D,E and me in the friend group.

A,B,C,D all have beef with friend E, while I am also being excluded from the new friendgroup within the original friendgroup because i was absent for a while because of i was focusing on my academics so a lot happened while i was gone.

They basically have a groupchat without E and me, bc E obviously is not compatible with them while I wasnt around so they dont feel comfortable sharing certain information to

me.

My best friend is in that group chat which is why i know how ABCD has beef with E while i didnt know anything, so whats going on is, im also being excluded for no absolute reason in my opinion. Cause weve all been friends for a while some of them being more than 5 years, so i have no idea why i am being isolated. I just dont understand. They even said they dont have beef with me its just cause im not close enough to them to share certain information, but then i was only gone for a month and a half max and it was only during lunch, bc i had to go to office hours.

I just think this hole thing is stupid and i have no reason to be left out because they have rlly bad situations and beef with ONE OTHER PERSON.

But i try to understand that they dont want to talk about their business to me, but at the same time i think its bull shit.

Like they know i went to office hours and meetings so i couldnt make it to lunch, and their petty explanation to excludinf me is "i think she doesnt like me", when the whole time after i keep gettjng glances and awkwardness.

Idk my question is should i confront them, but at the same time what is that going to do. What should i do? Should i just look for a new friendgroup in my senior year of hs (omfg.)

"You look depressed"[18]

I need to fix my resting face asap.

For all the years ive lived my parents from the day i could make facial expressions always told me to me to smile. Look happy, raise my voice to a higher octave, and talk loudly. It doesnt help that recently i had this teacher that would always let me know how depressed and angry i looked.

But anyways.

Now that ive lived for a good amount of time i realized how much first impressions and just visuals matter A LOT.

For context i have a rbf, downturned eyes and lips so yes. I look intimidating and like a b**** apparently when i dont smile. And it doesnt make it better than my voice is monotoned and my smile is downturned too.

If im being truly honest I REALLY CANT FIX MY FACE, i cant talk "lighter" while also speaking loudly cause my voice and throat is actually more fragile than i thought. I can smile but i cant think about smiling and also tlak to people cause it just needs to happen naturally, BUT I DONT WANT TO LOOK PISSED OF TO WHOEVER IM TALKING TO but also make it awkward.

Like it happens naturally when im around my friends and family and people i already now for a while. But i really want to fix this so i can have a better social life outside of what i alrwady have. Meaning when i meet strangers.

I think i also have a speech impediment, i started stuttering a lot recently, i didnt when i was younger. And also my voice is so monotone is sounds awkward when i try to fake it and make it more.... natural sounding i guess.

I really envy those people who just sound so bubbly and enthusiastic, how do i fix my voice..

I came to a conclusion that i think about my appearance and how people think of me so much that i end up just being ... that. I want to make a good impression in college and just in the future how do i look more jolly and sound more jolly? Sigh

This just piss me off

Why do people who started the fight act like theyre the victim and distance themselves from me and act like i did something horrible to them. Like as the victim of your actions let ME cut you off.

How to not hold Grudges

I hate seeing people who did me dirty doing better than me in life.

Its so unfair how the public doesnt know how mean someone is to you, and not get any consequences from it.

The worst part is that, my friends are still friends with her, cause, their words "shes been through a lot, and were too close...", mind you weve been friends longer than the mean girl has been with her. I can undertsand to a point, but its until my friend also talks about how she cant keep up with her attitude too, but then goes on to hangout with her more than me.

It almost feels like the whole friend group is closer with her than me. Im not saying all the attention should be on me. I just thjnk its unfair how, my closest friends are more closer to her than me.

Its just so unfair. I just isolated myself from her (the mean girl) but know it seems like im a whole decade of friendship away from my friendgroup for some reason.

I dont get how someone could be so mean and do whatever they want but still be popular for being nice and bubbly, while i get affected by the consequences of her actions.

Anyway, i just think its time to move on from her. And ive been spending too much of my energy and time stressing and being mad about her actions towards me.

I try to go by that one quote saying how their consequence is being who they are. Idk if that makes sense, but it hasnt been helping. Cause i just keep seeing her being socially accepted and popular, even being closer with my best friend.

Help me move on from ts

Low gpa

Can i still get into a good school with a low gpa, i wouldnt say its bad but its not what i wanted. Even though i tried so hard and took rigorous courses my gpa seems to not reflect the amount of studying and work i put into hs. My GPA weighted is somehow a 3.67 even though I took 5 APs and got As and Bs. I think its also due to the fact that i took honors classes at my previous school, but when i transferred my new school didnt have honors so they just counted them as regular courses. Is GPA really important, and will it fuck up my college admissions to my dream colleges? (Pittsburgh, Uwash, Berkeley/UCLA, UIUC)

Berkeley App Qs

Ive been wanting to go to berkeley for architecture since freshmen year, and have been trying so hard to get good stats. But things did not go as planned. My stats arent horrible, the main thing that makes a great difference in my application are my grades, I think I got greedy and took too many hard classes at once. I also wasnt able to do any architecture ECs due to the lack of opportunities in my area. I just know im going to be the odd one out among the bay area kids. Is there a chance that I could get in with atleast a good essay??

Popular topic=bad?

I basically want to write my essay about growth and how i take a lot of opportunities when i can, since i noved around alot growing up. But im not going to base it around moving around, im going to base of my essay on my passion and an ec that allowed me to grow into the person i am today.

So, what im asking is, is it okay to include how i moved around a lot, since i know how much of a popular topic it is.

I hate how bad my memory is

Im so tired of scoring low scores on exams. I do understand the topic, and i know how to solve the problems. But i feel like the time, pressure, and just the fact that its a test gets me worried and i eventually blank out everytime i take a test. How do i fix this, sometimes i study for a week and i cant retain any information as soon as i open the test packet.

Does my topic really matter?

Im now in my senior year applying for colleges, and i began writing my common app essay a couple weeks ago.

Ive seen videos of those college app ready or whatever college councelor accounts saying how some topics are overrated and it would automatically cause the admissions people to stop reading it.

Im writing about my social anxiety and how i ended up surpassing it and becoming thr best version of myself. But i feel like this topic would be really popular and common.

However when i talked to my counselor about this, she told me how its more important to clearly convey and write the message i want to give out than choosing a niche topic.

Im just in a dilemma cause social anxiety and moving was a big part of my life where i think everything started to click when i figured out my identity.

Should i still write about this?

Do i detach myself from this friend group

Ive been feeling outcasted by my friend group for about almost a year now, and i want to know sincerely if i am the problem.

It all started with having conflict with this girl i used to be really close with. She started being really distant and stopped texting me as much, so i kept checking in on her and asking if everything was okay and if she was doing okay. Even if she kept acting the same way i kept trying to be by her side, though itd be often one sided. Then it became really bad, i couldnt handle the passive aggressiveness and disrespect. It became so bad to the point i had to just confront her and ask her why shes doing this to me and if i did anything wrong and that i wanted her to justify her actions torwards me. She said, she was reciprocating what i did to her, so as a good person i asked her the things i did so i can fix it and become a better friend. But she said she doesn't remember, so i just apologized and told her id try harder to be cautious of my actions. So i thought we were okay again, and we were for a while, until she started doing the same things again.

While this was happening i think my friend group consisting 7 people started falling off, well atleast it seemed like they were more distant towards me.

When were in a group hangout and id have to go do something by myself, throwing away trash or like tying my shoe laces, theyd purposely leave me, until i literally cant see them and they fade away in the crowd. The reason i know how its on purpose is because they look back and start laughing, or when i confront them theyre like "yea lol". Maybe im just sensitive but i think leaving behind one single person while the rest are together is a bit too much, especially when they dont even come back, and when some people in the group know ive been feeling left out.

This continues to another reason..

I feel like im the only one in the group that doesn't know alot of things of their life situations. Im not saying that they all need to tell me about everything in their life. But it gets to the point where they would have inside jokes that i wouldnt understand and talking about things i dont know infront of me expecting me to know. I ask them why they dont tell me these things that everybody else knows, and they brush it off saying they forgot. Even my best friend of 6 years, that used to be so close with me. Like i really do understand that some things are to be said to only the people that you're close with, but ive been friends with most of these people for almost 3+ years. It seems like im being sensitive and insecure, which i probably am, but i really dont understand how i try so hard to be close with them again but im never truly in the group. It feels like i have to beg them to tell me these things, im tired of asking "whats happening" "wait what happened" "you never told me", the things that everyone in the group is aware of. Theres just so much more like not responding to me and acting dryly toward me brushing it off as im tired or im busy, but it cant be justified when the second another person comes across your mood changes 180.

I confronted my best friend, the one of 6 years, and she said sometimes they can be like that and that shes sorry if shes like that sometimes. But i feel like even after talking about how i feel nothing really changes.

I really want to know if im the problem, because if i am, i really really want to change myself and become a better person. Im just so drained trying for this friend group. The only friends i have. Am i valid for feeling this way?
