Samsung Smart TV - Delayed response to remote control

Hey All.

I have a samsung smart tv that’s maybe 5-7 years old. For the last 2ish years, the response from pressing a button on the remote has gotten infuriatingly slow / at times non-responsive.

I have it set to automatically download updates, i’ve cleared the cache, I even bought a replacement remote.

Recently, we got a Roku and set it up on the samsung tv. That remote and software is so fast and responsive, it’s like the tv is brand new again.

So, assuming the TV’s software is the culprit, how do i make my tv response time like-new again? This is the only issue we have with the tv. Seems like planned obsolescence if they just stop updating the software, what a dumb reason to get a new tv.

I’m looking to gift a PBN kit to my ma for mother’s day, but so much of what I see is AI generated and looks like trash.
I love the look of vintage, old school PBNs that were designed before AI took over everything.

Any recommendations for sellers that do not use AI designes? There are some vintage kits on ebay but i’m assuming the paints would not be usable if they’re so old.

Photo for reference of the kind of thing i’m looking for.
