X files - official archive

Hey guys not sure it has been already discussed so I apologize but just got this epic heavy 300 pages book

Have you guys seen it ? I highly recommend it for those serious x files fans, it’s insanely detailed on most of the famous episode cases, the design itself is super well made and it’s thick and feels almost like real documents, wish kind of it had actual binder paper and real style papers sometimes instead of glossy paper but seriously is a must have for x files community

I got my copy in Barnes and noble for around 65us which was more expensive than Amazon but since I was only visiting my family in usa and was leaving the next day had to buy it on the store.

Not sure prices in other countries but in Amazon Japan is more expensive so maybe you can order on Amazon usa or if you are in usa In store at barnels

Black Helicopter @ Area 51

I went back to Area 51, this was my 7th time visit to the site, this time it got more interesting as I was reaching the gates suddenly a black helicopter came from behind the mountain flying as low as like 20 meters near my car, it was definitely something different lol

I wanted to post the video but the sub doesn’t allow full video

Might post it on my IG at future_vizion

I built turn-by-turn HUD navigation for the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses

I built HALO Maps, a navigation app for the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses.

The main idea is simple: driving, biking, and walking turn-by-turn navigation directly in the HUD, so you don’t have to keep looking down at your phone.

The native maps experience is still limited to the U.S. and a few supported regions, and starting routes by voice can be unreliable. HALO uses a companion app so you can search for addresses, landmarks, and millions of local businesses worldwide, then send the route straight to the glasses.

Current features:

-HUD turn-by-turn navigation
-Driving, biking, and walking modes
-Companion app search for worldwide addresses and businesses
-Voice turn-by-turn navigation
-Speed camera alerts
-Pedometer for walking directions
-Live speedometer
-Set a max speed and get alerted when you reach it
-Favorites and Home shortcuts
-Stealth Mode for a cleaner display

Right now the voice navigation is set to a funny Mexican voice while I test it, but I’m working on a more serious navigation voice next.

This is still early, so I’m mainly looking for feedback from people with the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses.

Would love to hear what you think or what features you’d want added.

Navigation not available outside of USA, not anymore check out my App Halo Maps

As you know the default meta apps lacks not just a way for us to type an address or business and navigate to it, also the full turn by turn navigation is not available outside of USA so I built Halo Maps for Rayban Meta Display Glasses
Allowing you to use the companion web app and easily search and navigate:

It also includes speedometer HUD just like in the future they promised us in the 1980s haha

You can toggle the speedometer stealth mode and just see the speed of that’s what you need only.

You can search your saved location, navigate to home, find local recommendations and more!

Since the app is currently connected to my Google api business account I have set a max limit to only 300 api calls per day so for early free testing is available only by invite only if you want to try it send me a message on IG at future_vizion if you agree to send me bug reports and truly demo it before it goes fully live

Speedometer HUD App VELO for Meta Display

I always wanted a smart helmet for riding my bike but never found one that was usable and or affordable, so I built my own HUD Speedometer that can track realtime velocity, speed also dynamically illuminates based on current speed.

You can also set your max speed to alert you just in case, track previous scores and past riding history
And more
If you want to try it let me know I can send you a beta invite

Made a turn by turn navigation app for Japan and other non usa countries

Hey guys as you know the meta default apps is clunky and navigation is limited outside of usa, so I built an entire maps experience with turn by turn navigation, you can also search for any Google Maps address or name ( default doesn’t let me you do that only by voice )

You can easily search from within the glasses or from the companion web app ( soon iOS ) it has all this epic features including realtime speedometer, pedometer for walking mode and tons of other cool features, I also added this hillarious Mexican voice for those navigation commands, you can disable it of course 😆😆

I am still testing it so it’s not available yet but will post more info here soon

Velo - Speedometer App

I built VELO, a speedometer HUD that runs directly on the glasses. It shows real-time speed, acceleration, distance, trip stats, step counting, personal best “ghost” records, and even a Stealth Mode that leaves only the speed visible. It also flashes visual alerts when you exceed your chosen speed limit while cycling or driving.

Issue pairing another meta account

Anyone had this issue where somehow the glasses are paired to another meta account and so I specifically unpaired and also remove them from that account but when I try to pair them again to my main account i get an error saying glasses paired to the other account.

So glad I found this community

Just want to say that I am really happy I found this x files community, I am from 1982 so I grew up watching x files and totally shaped my life experience around cinema and the paranormal, I’ve been binge watching x files everyday for the past weeks and been sharing a bit of my favorite episodes here and it feels amazing to know there are so many other x files fans that share the same passion!

To be honest the nostalgia of the 90s, the intelligent dialogues the mistery and supernatural the cheesy 90s visual effects everything combined it’s just hits so right.

As a cinematographer myself, JSC “ japanese society to cinematographers” it’s amazing to experience the series shot on film, everything just fits perfect!

Just wanted to share a bit and I’ll do my best to share also my favorites episodes! Just finished all season 1 ( episode 1 and last episode my favorite )

Heading to season 2, already watched season 4,5,6 😆🙏
