I hate to be the bearer of bad news for the Care Bears, but I just found this out from another Care Bears group and thought I needed to share it here.

Hey, sorry for the alert, but this is quite serious.

The Care Bears IP has recently been bought out by ABG, Otherwise known as "Authentic Brands Group". A company that directly purchases any brand that is struggling with finances or has become bankrupt/debt-heavy just to essentially suck the brand dry of all possible money before abandoning it.

The reason this is important is because they support unethical labour practices, child labour, Generative AI usage and are willing to do anything just to increase their profit.

They are directly connected to Shien and the practices of that company, as well as its partner company Temu. The playbook is simple. They wait for any beloved brand to hit financial trouble, buy it out, including all names, trademarks and merch rights, and then strip out whatever made the thing worth buying. They then license the brand to third parties, which do all the work. Including ones that lobby or fund many sorts of right-wing political parties. And then they kill it.

You may also know about the recent collabs that Care Bears has done, which directly support companies with interests that go against human rights and the LGBTQ+ community. Such as Harry Potter. This will only get worse under ABG. Unfortunately there may not be much that can be done about this. However, the best-case scenario is that they realise that they need to treat the IP with respect and respect the fan base of Care Bears.

I'm being told at this time that the best thing we can do is to boycott Care Bears and all Care Bears merch/material until they understand, but I do beg to wonder if there is anything else we can do. But even if this goes in the right direction. Money will still go directly to ABG from supporting Care bears and will support their practices.

I'm not sure what is happening now, but Brave is now asking me to enable Javascript when it is already enabled, affecting both Remove Paywalls and Hoxx VPN Proxy now with messages like "Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker." It is making me think it is time to switch browsers.

Hi, I'm being billed for a ChatGPT subscription I got a few years ago, and somehow I'm on free again. I'm trying to get help, and all I'm getting are ChatGPT responses that are just sending me in loops. I have been using ChatGPT to give me suggestions with my story writing, not to have it write my story, and something has changed to where it is not giving me choices on what to do next anymore.

I received an 'activate AMD account' e-mail that I never requested, and it appears to not be directed to me. I'm not sure how it happened or who to contact about this.

I got a message from someone after friending me saying they had mistakenly reported my discord account for illegal purchase/fraud instead of the real scammer. It had this attached image, but I have not responded to it yet.

I'm trying to find a way to fix this or an alternate that I can use, and I wonder if someone can help me.

There was a video on Youtube I had seen a while ago that was about the frog princess, and I can't seem to find it again. All I remember is it was about the frog prince's broken promise and it was navigated mentioning the princess was heartbroken. She was a young girl who wore a pink dress and a possible a crown or tiara. She went to a well in a mysterious forest and she had returned to her castle in the beginning and received the golden ball as a gift. The ball was lost in the well and she was really crying being heartbroken, the frog looked like a normal frog with a prince's crown asked her, "Why do you cry, little one?" The frog went down to the bottom of the well to a 'Land of Lost Treasures" to find the ball, and it is about all I can remember. I'm trying to find it again and this time save it because viewing the video and the description of it had given me ideas for a story of mine that has nothing to do with the frog prince.

Hi, I may be in need of a new webhosting provider at this time. I used to be hosted at HostGator and had to move to A2Hosting a couple of years ago due to security issues with them. Right now I'm currently paying around $200 a year with A2Hosting and getting a 503 Service Unavailable message on my domains, which they don't seem to be resolving for me at all. I had tried to use the chat, but they just have an AI answering stuff and no one live, and I tried calling their number only to get hung-up on twice already. I'm now at the point of seeing if I can give someone my A2Hosting cpanel login information to see if they help me or clone my entire hosting account over to their server instead because of how frustrated I am.

What it is, is I'm being restricted under 2GBs of space on a plan that has up to 15 times or more disk space, and the only thing I got out of them was a tmp file leak of tmp files being created and not deleted.

I just got contacted by a friend of mine who says he is not able to post here about a Bluesky situation due to his post being removed by Reddit's Filters for some unknown reason, and I'm wondering if anyone can assist me in helping him.

I have been getting this error message for the last couple of days and I'm not sure what to do or if there is a cache or achieve of the directory that I can access somewhere, since I like looking for these kinds of stories for inspiration.

Hi, I have been using Save Image As JPG, PNG, WebP whenever I need to save an image from somewhere for something, and I just found that it was disabled by Brave recently with this message. I'm not sure what is going on and what I can do about this.
