(Threat) I am going to start one-tricking Vendetta in 6v6 console competitive.

I've made this post as a preemptive apology to all who will be effected by my bad decision making. I have been playing Overwatch console for many years now, the highest I've ever climbed has been low Masters on DPS, typically sitting at Diamond 1.

As someone with very little mechanical competency and only occasional glimmers of good gamesense, I am comfortable with this. I have had a clear preference towards close-range flank/dive heroes for a while now, generally due to a distaste for the dick-measuring contest among hitscan which is aim skill (regardless of how low the skill floor is combined with aim assist).

Now while I have generally preferred Reaper or Venture as my DPS of choice in the past, Vendetta has been calling to me since her release. I've found the stark difference between her performance on PC Vs console disheartening and as someone who has wanted to get into the hero, and after some time of getting bored with my stagnating DPS gameplay, I've decided to just bite the bullet.

I am currently Diamond 1 in 6v6 open queue. I expect this to not be the case very shortly, and hopefully that means none of you will be suffering with me in your games for long. I am going to pick up the sword, and I will not be putting it down until such time as I am one of the three half-decent console Vendetta players. Or, more likely, until I am banned for throwing. To prevent this from happening in the first week, I will most likely be muting my chat, as I myself am a bit of a shit talker.

Once again I apologise profusely for the impact I am about to have, and I promise to make my trip down to silver as fast as possible to alleviate the suffering I bring. If you or a loved one experience a Vendetta refusing to swap in the next few weeks, I am sorry to have darkened your doorstep, but I promise you I am likely crying behind the screen.

For your my sake and most certainly yours, I urge you to consider banning Cassidy.

I need the Devs to fix the communication limit BADLY

Okay so I'm already prepared for the influx of people telling me to just use mic, but this is something that *was* in a perfectly fine state and is now in a completely shit state, so bare with me.

As of season 3, I've noticed that the window that the game can lock you out of basic communications (Hello, Acknowledge, Ultimate Charge, Pings, etc) has become DRASTICALLY more punishing. Previously, communication lock would last for about 5 seconds at a time, but whether by intentional change or glitch I have been experiencing total communication lockout for 30 seconds to a minute at a time, with no indicator as to how long it's going to last.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Important communications, such as ultimate charge, or the ability to ping an enemy, are not spam. Not only do I want to be able to tell my teammates there is a flanker when it's important, I want to know when my teammate has seen a flanker themselves. I don't want to get halfway through a team fight before being able to tell my teammates that I have my ult ready.

This is genuinely a pain in the ass to deal with in-game and I need it fixed desperately. Again, I'm unsure if it's intentional, but if it is then I'd humbly ask that whoever made this decision get a grip and recognise that locking us out of integral information for long periods of time helps absolutely nobody.

Let people have their fun. Unless their fun involves Hordes and Shooting.

I am so. Bored.

All the other Divers want enemy nerfs. No one likes to be challenged. No one wants to learn new weapons. They think I am a tryhard.

I go from planet to planet committing to off-meta in their squads. And as I learn from it, they doubt me more and more. I am a victim of pick-rate stigma.

"Glazediver." I don't even get a real name. Only dismissal.

We are capable of so much more and nobody sees it. Some days I feel so bored I could play solo, but I don't. I never do. Because what would be the point? Not a single person in the entire community would learn.

Take it to your grave.

Some function to be able to choose what our Mii's look like when they're feeling different emotions would be great.

This would be especially useful for Miis who's eyes are rotated severely, or who use facial features like eyebrows for details.

It would also allow you to change face paint depending on their current expression.
