Sorry for the kind of long story, hoping someone can point me in the right direction here for delay reimbursement. I've been lucky and this is my first major delay. I was supposed to fly out on an 11:06 MST flight from PHX to JFK last Sunday. A dust storm came in and the plane that was coming in from JFK to take us was diverted to LAX. Our flight was delayed until 2:45 am, and the plane finally made it's way from LAX to PHX at about 2. We were then told the crew had timed out, so the flight was pushed until 2:30PM the following afternoon. I got a text from Jetblue saying that I'd get points as compensation pending the outcome of a review.

Separately from that, I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred card, which claims to provide up to $500 in meal/transportation reimbursement for delays longer than 12 hours, but it doesn't list crew issues as a qualifying reason (only mechanical and weather, not sure if that matters). I'm trying to file a claim for my ubers back to my hotel and then back to the airport, and the meals I got along the way. I already had the hotel for the night, so that wasn't an added expense. Chase said I needed a delay verification form from Jetblue, so I've tried getting one, but the following happened:

Attempt 1: Jetblue sends me a form saying the delay was due to a crew issue, and that my flight was supposed to leave at 11 06pm on the 23rd but actually left at 2:30pm on the 23rd (so the wrong date).

Attempt 2: I explain that the date is wrong, the flight actually left on the 24th. Jetblue says they'll send a corrected one. I then get the exact same letter again.

Attempt 3: I explain they've now sent me the same wrong letter twice, and I also mention that they need to list weather as a delay reason, because my card might not cover crew delays, and weather was the first cause.

They they re-sent me my original flight confirmation from months ago, and that's it. No delay verification letter.

So here's my questions:

1. Has Jetblue not given me any points as compensation because the original cause was weather, even though they keep writing crew delay on the wrongly-dated letter? Is there a way to get any out of them?

2. How can I get them to send me the correct delay verification letter?

3. If anyone's familiar with Chase delay reimbursement, will the fact that they're writing crew delay prevent me from getting anything?

Hi, I recently sold two concert tickets. The money is in my bank account now, but the buyer hasn't responded to any of my messages asking if he'd rather me send the tickets over ebay or meet up to do it. If I just send the QR code for the tickets over ebay messages to him, is there a chance he could cancel the order for lack of receipt of tickets since he might not think I sent them? Or could I dispute it since there'll be evidence I sent them? The concert is this weekend so I'm worried there won't be time to resell if he cancels in the next couple days.

Looks like there's absolutely no availability at Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen after December 23rd, could it be because it's closing/not taking point reservations after that point, or is that just because some resorts only book ~6 months out? I can't imagine it's a selling out issue, since literally every night between December 23rd and the end of the calendar in July 2027 is unavailable. Thanks!

Looks like age 58 and 30 years with no changes in contribution rates for teachers.

For other non-teacher employees, a .75 percent deceased in contribution rates across the board but no lower than 3 percent and no change in retirement age.

Hi everyone, I'm planning to pop the question to my lady friend soon and need to rent out a portion of a bar for the party. It'll likely be around 50 people on a Saturday night, and although I've found a lot of good bar suggestions on this subreddit, they rarely if ever mention the price they paid. I was quoted a $2000 food + drink minimum for 50 people by the only place that's responded so far, and I'm curious how typical that is. Thanks!
