How should you treat moderators if you break a poorly-written rule?

If a post is deleted because the rules of a subreddit are sort of tongue-and-cheek or not clearly laid out, should you talk to the moderator about it when your post is removed?
For a completely random example, say you're not allowed to post AI content in a subreddit. One subreddit might say:

>Rule 11 - AI Generated Garbage: If you're using AI and trying to pretend it's a real user - you'll be banned.

while a different subreddit might say

>Rule 6 - GenAI is not allowed, but AI Tools are. AI text is allowed in limited cases. You may not post work containing Generative AI elements (Midjourney, Neo, Dall-E, etc.) ...

Now if you posted an artfully generated 90-minute feature film created with generative AI, it clearly wouldn't be allowed in the second option, but the first one, maybe, depends on your definition of "AI garbage".

The specifics don't matter, what I'm wondering is, do you even bring it up with a moderator, or will that cause them to potentially ban you for angering them for even wasting their time? If your post was deleted, how would you bring it up that it fits the rules without them reflexively banning you for a post you thought was fine, but they thought was not?

How to write that a character is scared and picks up a phone?

Is it more like:
"His body freezes and his shaky hand retrieves the phone"
or is it more like
"He is scared. He picks up the phone."
or like,
"The phone RINGS.
John FREEZES. His body straight at an arrow.
His hand CRANKS at the elbow and he extends his SHAKY hand to the receiver.
His arm hair is ERECT."
or like,
"He picks up the phone.
JOHN
W-w-who is it....?"

or give me an example.

I just get confused because some people say don't direct the actor on how to portray things like being scared, but also don't just write emotions write how we see those emotions, etc. Or can you just do whatever and people should spend less time worrying about the prose and worry more about story/character?

Do Americans really not have oral exams during high school AND university?

Like, you never are sat in front of the professor in front of all your friends and humiliated during an exam?

My phone died with a backup from yesterday. i've since moved to a new phone and gotten new messasges. how do i restore the messages from my old phone with the new message I have on my new phone?

Like, I can see all the chats from the backup, but they're all empty (some say "Waiting for this Message", but others are just empty). It's like it hasn't actually restored the backup. I'm not sure what to do because if I back up now, will it delete the previous backup with all my messages?
I just want to merge what was my old phones back-up + messages from my new phone. And another question: what do I do if I fix my old phone? If I backup does it erase those messages that weren't backed up the day it died?

Edit: So basically, you have to lose everything after the backup was made, or lose everything before it was made.

Someone make a site/database for game saves about ~33% done with the game.

Hell, I'd pay for a FFXII save that is past all the intro stuff. I love that game, but never beat it, but have played the first ten hours like 5 times.

I think Gamefaqs used to have some, but it's not a common thing anymore. Or maybe it is and haven't looked recently.

A lot of people want shorter games for their more busy adult lives, but I need to skip past the early stuff. I like how some modern games give short summaries about the last story beats.

When I am watching a film on my android phone via VLC, it says it's 23.976 fps, but the projector says 60hz. I see a bit of a stutter, and I wonder if it's this sort of discrepancy that is causing it. Is there a way to remove this stutter?

When I am watching a film on my android phone via VLC, it says it's 23.976 fps, but the projector says 60hz. Connection is via an HDMI cable (which is 1080p/60hz capable). On a Flip 5 (2640 × 1080 pixels, 120Hz). I see a bit of a stutter, and I wonder if it's this sort of discrepancy that is causing it. Is there a way to remove this stutter?
