The earrings in the photo were labeled as Anthropologie on Poshmark. The earrings I received are quite different. Did I get hustled?

On the bright side, I only paid $14.

Update: ISO: Reasonable rent for large dog friendly apartments

Last week, I posted in this subreddit searching for recommendations/areas for a dog-friendly 1 bedroom apartment for around $2k. I did end up finding an apartment for $100 more than what I wanted to spend, HOWEVER, I got everything I wanted and MORE in Mission Valley: 1 bed/1 bath, 700 sq ft, updated unit, 2 parking spots included, no dog rent or dog deposit, and very nice owners that I will be renting directly from who live locally (not some property management corporation). The complex itself has 3 pools, a gym, shared laundry, tennis courts, community grills, and beautifully maintained landscaping. Additionally, this complex is 1 block up from a trolley station so I barely need my car to commute to my office.

I found it through a realtor but the listing was publicly available on Zillow as well. I'm posting here to give others hope that these units ARE out there. You may have to slightly adjust your budget. For me, personally, it came down to what the unit has to offer for my money.

Previous post here.

Edit: of course even on a positive post someone has to downvote it. Some people are just miserable.

ISO: Reasonable rent for large dog friendly apartments

Hi all. I'll be moving to the area from Long Beach - aiming for September. Where can I find large dog friendly apartments in SD that aren't incredibly expensive? I've been looking at all of the rental websites I can think of. I haven't had a chance quite yet to come down and drive the neighborhoods I would like to be in. I also looked at the San Diego Humane Society's website of dog friendly apartments. Feels like a needle in a haystack situation. Are there other ways of finding large dog friendly units? The thing is, me and my dog won't even be there full time as I still have to split my time between Long Beach on weekends and San Diego during the week for work. There may be some weeks my dog stays in Long Beach with my husband. I don't feel right about getting one of those ESA letters. My situation is complex but I'm trying my best to deal with the hand I have been dealt. Any leads would be great.

Is this milkweed cooked?

I’ve tried squishing them, spraying the plant with water, and now letting nature run its course. I’m worried it’s too far gone with all these aphids. There are lots of ladybugs and larvae on the plant but I don’t think they’re enough for how many aphids there are.

Sunny found a Malinois puppy to run with at the beach! His name was Arlo.

Of course it wouldn’t be a Malinois if the puppy didn’t run into something without looking.

Found a down soldier 😭

It was hanging from a stone on this pillar before it fell off. Must have been a tachnid fly as I saw strings on the cat before it fell down. Damn flies!

Was anyone on this flight from DAL? Looked like the plane had to do another landing.

I noticed this plane was too low after a flight just took off to Sacramento. Sure enough I see the pilots had to loop back around to do the approach again. I work in aviation so this intrigues me. Anyone on here know what happened?

We figured Sunny was a GSD mix with some possible Malinois in him but we didn’t expect nearly 50/50 of each. His personality is all Malinois though.
