Im looking for a place to grab a coffee that is just kind of a relaxing vibe.

Also looking for a place to eat dinner thats outdoors, and just has a relaxing vibe to it. Doesn't HAVE to he a restaurant. Im down with a winery that has.......close to dinner items. Or a brewery that has a food truck or something like that. Just looking for chill and outdoors.

Some people can't go, so we now have 2 tickets for the Parker McCollum concert tonight at Musikfest.

In August she is going with her school team to a 4 day, 3 night UCA Camp. The coach gave a pretty awesome packing list. Huge thank you to her for that.

Still had a few questions though.

She mentioned they can bring snacks. There is a place where they can buy snacks there also. How many snacks would you suggest to bring? What would you bring them in? It will be in the Poconos (mountains in PA) so it would need to be sealable. Gallon zip lock? Small/medium tote? How much cash would you suggest taking for the cafe?

She does need time to get acclimated to things. Just kinda how she is, especially in unfamiliar situations like this. Do they have time to get their bearings when they arrive? Or do they have like 10 minutes to get their cabin, put sheets on the bed, put up their decorations, change etc.... If it is super fast paced we would want to know so she can at least have that expectation going there. What about time to shower and change? Is it rushed or do they have a decent amount of time?

She mentioned debit/credit card for the camp shop. Any idea if they take Apple Pay? How much would you suggest to give her? Basically....what do things cost? Im assuming they sell items that you see at comps? Hoodies, shirts etc...

If you could give any advice for first timers, what would it be?

We'll be coming in from 476 south. We've gone to CBP multiple times for the Phillies and usually just park there. I hate how long it takes to get back to 95. Is there a better option?

I'd assume if we're there from around 5 to midnight, we'll be be getting food and drinks. Alcohol will most likely be 2 drinks each for me and my wife. Any help would or advice would be appreciated.

Its been like this since day 1. It makes me not want to play at all. I like playing on my Steam Deck, but I want the cars and Japan to be in full graphical glory. Its the only game that does this. By FAR. Heres my Specs:

Game is on Steam, not Xbox App.

I don't have it installed anymore, but I remember Crimson Desert was < 1 minute.

Has ANYONE experienced this? Whats the fix here?

I'm trying to find out the average power bill for Lehigh Valley. Atlas is going to be there, and I'm sure they're going to say how awesome it will be for the local economy for the 450 jobs they're going to add. Well, i want to combat that with how much money citizens will have to spend on power bills. That money doesn't stay local. So, if more money locally is spent that brought in, it doesn't make sense.

Additionally, I'm looking for Atlas data center existing locations to see how it effected their local areas.

Last, does anyone have a loop of data center noise with no other background noise/talking? I'm debating on bringing my JBL to have the noise going for the 5 minutes I'm allowed to talk. Not sure if this is a good idea though.

My daughter (14) is having some friend issues, and my heart is completely breaking for her. Tomorrow is her last day of 8th grade. Today and tomorrow are half days, so they dismiss at 11:00. My wife and I were walking the dog with her yesterday and told her that if she wants to do anything after school on Tuesday she should start planning now. She looked at us, got a tear in her eye and said everyone is going to parties Tuesday and she wasn't invited to any of them.

After COVID school lockdowns ended she was in 4th grade and made a very solid friend group. It was her and 4 others. They were all doing everything with one another, all the time. I loved it. This lasted to the end of 6th grade. Cheer tryouts for the middle school team were basically a 2 week process. There were open gyms for most of the time, so they would take a bus from the middle school to the high school. On the bus, one of the girls in the friend group, we'll call her S, would sit with one of their mutual friends, A, and both of them would basically talk shit about my daughter. "She won't be captain with those motions." "Does she think she is impressing the coach?" Things like that. So, this lead to her becoming friends with C who she knew for a few years now. C is outside the old initial friend group. Both C and my daughter have done cheer since 4th grade, and S, C and A are all on the team with my daughter.

Well, she left the lunch table in 7th grade that had her initial core friends (and A) and went to sit with C at her lunch table. C is friends with other girls. There was a small amount of drama as the tables can only sit 8 girls each, but she found herself getting a seat at this table. She has hung out with everyone at her old table and new table over the last 2 years (except one, who they just kind of stopped contacting each other). Trick or Treat, a local amusement park, birthday parties (their parties and our daughters) etc... These were mainly group settings and the only one she ever did anything with 1:1 was C.

I am actually reading a book called "Untangled" and in the book, the author is describing this as "Tribes." My interpretation is that she has left one tribe and wants to be a part of another. This other tribe, only kind of accepted her.

There are 3 parties (apparently) that are going on Tuesday. All 3 hosts are in the new tribe. She is still talking to 3 members of her old tribe, including S. She doesn't want to hang out with because reasons i won't get into. The other 2, she is assuming are going to some of the pool parties. She really, over the last 6 months, has wanted to do anything with C. She will ask others on rare occasions if they want to do anything, but she REALLY has hitched her entire wagon to C. She is afraid to ask other girls what they are doing on Tuesday. She hasn't said why, but I'm guessing fear of rejection and them telling her they are going to X Y or Z's pool party, and then she will feel more left out.

Today, as I was driving her to school she said she is going to try and get 3 or 4 friends together to go play pickleball at around 5. I have all my fingers and toes crossed she can make this happen. She sent her one friend, who she is closest with thats hosting an after school pool party, a message asking if she is hosting a party. She opened it last night, but did not reply.

She is being a trooper through all of this, but i know her and i know its really bothering her. We asked her if there was any drama or if anything has happened, but she keeps saying that nothing happened.

We don't want her middle school journey to end like this. My wife and I are just heart broken. She really is a kind girl with a good head on her shoulders. I'm not naive, and I know every parent says that about their kid. The thought did cross our minds that our daughter may not treat people nicely when we aren't watching, but we just aren't getting that feeling. I don't think she has the heart to be cruel or mean. I truly think she is kind of just stuck between 2 tribes, doing everything she can to be accepted by the new one. I'm talking baking cookies for the lunch table multiple times and bringing in candy to share.

We're at a loss of what to do. We want Tuesday to be special for her. ANY advice would be VERY helpful!

Our daughter is going to be in 9th grade next year, and will be trying out for a High School team. She cheered for the Middle School/Junior High team prior, so we're confident she will make at least make JV. We were planning our vacation, a concert and some other stuff around how practices, camps, fundraisers etc.... fell the last 2 years. This was back in January/February. The head coach did NOT resign her contract for the 26/27 school year. Open gyms and tryouts were postponed.

Last week we had a bunch of info thrown at us with revised open gyms, tryouts, upcoming calendar etc... When we reviewed the calendar we saw there is a camp an hour away, that ends 2 hour prior to a concert that is an hour away in the opposite direction (so 2 hours from the camp). We're not sure what to do here. The new head coach has NOT been announced, but there is a proxy contact until the school board officially approves them in June. The tickets are by no means cheap, plus one of her friends is coming.

So, the options are....

1. Tell the proxy now, so they can ask the new head coach what to do.
2. Let our daughter try out, and ask once she has made a team.
3. Don't say a word, go to the camp, and drive an hour, pick up friend, drive an hour to the concert, and hope anxiety doesn't kick in with not doing makeup, hair, showering, and just changing in a trunk/back seat.

What is the best option here?

Looking for some fun different things to do with the family over the weekend. I see the Iron Pigs are at home, so may go to a game there. Thanks in advance!

I live in west allentown, not to far from Allentown Municipal, The Club at Twon Lakes, Old Homestead and Shepherd Hills. I just started playing so, looking to improve. Who are the best around?

The other day we noticed birds were flying in and out of a vent between our first and second story of our house. I don't want to be a dick to them or anything, but i also don't want a fire hazard in my home.
