Spotted in an episode of Wizards of Waverly Place. I figured it's from Germany but the whole combination bugs me.
On one hand: I've been trying on and off again for about 1,5 years and the most advanced thing I made was a circle, I realised I have hypermobile joints so my fingers hurt during and after crocheting, I am also learning to sew which is more practical
On the other hand: I have so many ideas of things I would live to make some day and also a box full of yarn 😭
Soon after I bought it the stick came off and got stuck to the lid. Any chance to melt and reshape this?
I've been toying around the idea of getting dread extensions, maybe potentially real ones in the future. Mostly for aesthetic reasons but I'm also veeeery low maintenance person so even though I crave something cool and novel I'm not able to keep up anything that's not straight short air-dried hair. I heard dreads are relatively easy to maintain as long as you have them touched up regularly? I'm also curious if they feel heavy or scratchy on the neck.
I've been forwarded an information sheet about a workshop for doctoral researchers in Germany in which it reads: Bringing together doctoral researchers from a wide range of disciplines, we seek to examine the mechanisms and effects of reproductive oppression [...] Furthermore, the workshop also provides space for reflections that extend discussions of [...] It is also calling for presentation abstracts.
It reads like a conference to me but I'm new to academia. What can I expect?
I never understood the appeal of perfumes, almost all of them feel like spikes in my nostrils and most of the time I don't notice smells anyway unless they are overstimulating. My in-laws keep gifting me fragrances for some reason so I try to find something I'd like but still don't get why anyone would want to smell at all. Not to mention the metaphorical lingo, like wtf is a heart note 😭
If anyone has fragrance as a special interest feel free to info dump I genuinely want to understand why people spend so much money on them
