Hello Magik mains,
My goal this season is to actually play DPS semi-regularly in comp rather than tank the whole time and I've picked Magik as one of the characters to get good at. I've been doing okay so far, but I'd really like some help with button binds, particularly with the new teamup system which I'm still getting used to.
One thing I notice in a lot of Magik clips are people using their melee to do continuous damage, but I really dislike using my sticks for gameplay as I don't want to wear them out so is there any good place for that button to go that will feel natural?
Also, which teamup do you think is better so far? I'm still wrapping my head around the change so any help there would be super appreciated.
Thanks in advance and I hope everyone has been enjoying the new season!

Now, I haven't been keeping up with the recent Christopher Priest run because I've been trying to read all fo Vampirella chronologically to get there, but having read all of the old stuff and now getting into the 2000s I've really been missing when Vampirella had a consistent supporting cast in Pendragon and Adam. They gave her a loyal community to rely upon and had great potential for drama, humour and storytelling and I feel like a lot of modern Vampirella would benefit from these more grounded supporting cast members. I've only read a few series here and there for modern Vampi but I can't help but feel like she would really benefit for this kind of supporting cast that she hasn't seemed to have had for a number of years.
Also, it's just a fun energy between the three of them. They gave these characters great chemistry with each other and I miss seeing them all interact on panel.
Does anyone else feel similarly? I'm curious to know the community's thoughts here on these old characters and if they were well liked or not!
Basically what the title says. Is there a discord for Cap mains the way other mains subreddits have dedicated discords? It would be nice to talk to other Cap mains to improve. If not, would anyone else be interested in one?
Some of these are definitely more realistic than others but what can I say, I like some odd guys. Let me know if you guys agree or disagree :)
Had a game yesterday I can't stop thinking about. I was really excited going in because I main Cap and we had an Iron Fist and a Champ Spidey who had to go Black Panther after Spidey was banned.
But the enemy team was running Peni, Namor, Magneto, White Fox, Jeff and Punisher so they were basically undiveable. Like I'm sure in higher ELO where people are communicating it would be possible to still get picks but this was like Plat 3 and nobody wanted to swap. I switched to Strange so I could try and deal with the Peni nests as our other tank was a Thing who swapped off tank once he realised playing into Punisher/Peni was a stupid decision as a Thing.
But anyway. These other dive players didn't swap off the entire time, and then the enemy Jeff started saying how he was sorry for our 1 and 8 Black Panther because our team was selling and it was infuriating.
I like dive, or at least I like diving as Cap. It's a fun playstyle and I know my purpose and role well, even if I have a lot of room for improvement. But I also know that if it isn't working and if I'm not getting any value then I should swap and try to help my team with whatever the problem is, which seemed a mystery to our BP and IF who seemed determined to get sniped by Namor's squids every 5 minutes because by the time I got in a position to hit them Namor's cooldowns have already ended.
You aren't going to die if you don't play dive every game. Sometimes it's not the right gameplay style for the situation. You gotta learn something else man. You gotta be able to contribute to your team that isn't exploding on mines or getting one tapped by a Punisher in the backline 10 times in a row while I'm getting molested by Peni's webs over and over and over again.
Hi, I'm trying to do a complete read of the Harris publication era of Vampirella and I've run into quite a few comics just not seemingly being reprinted anywhere. I've searched and searched and I don't think there is anything but I figured maybe someone here might know.
I know the first 6 issues were reprinted in the Vampirella Masters collection but anything past that seems impossible to find. Is my only option to try and buy every issue individually? I live in the UK and international shipping can be pricey, as not everything is available over here.
If anyone knows any collection or archive that has the complete series, please let me know. Or if not, is there a chance Dynamite might release a complete collection sometime?
Obviously, Rivals Cap is from 2099 so his story is a little different but I hope one of these will be included in some way down the line. My personal favourite has always been Diamondback, but I'm interested to know if anyone has any other hopes, or if you'd rather Rivals Cap stay single?
From the various Marvel Swimsuit specials over the years. Hopefully one of these makes it in the game sometime 🤞
Hello Magik mains,
I decided to pick up Magik as of last week because I've started playing comp and as a tank main, I want to have a good DPS in my back pocket in case I have to flex. Unlikely, but it might happen and I don't want to end up caught out. My most played DPS prior to this have been Wanda and Reed so not exactly the best characters, so I definitely want a good one I can perform with.
Anyway, it hasn't been that bad so far. I've won most 1v1s I end up in and usually end up with decent kills, but every time I've popped ult I just evaporate immediately. I think I only have managed to get two kills maximum with my ult so far, when I honestly seem to perform better not ulting. Does anyone have any tips for timing it better? I've tried to copy what I've seen in clips and begin the ult behind cover before I go in and use my sword spins but I still seem to just explode.
Also, does anyone have any tips for disengaging? My main in comp is Cap so I understand how to dive but I think I've been spoiled by Cap's higher health pool and mobility because I've been struggling with getting away after engaging someone. Getting out is no problem on Cap but I mostly just die if a dive doesn't go right on Magik which isn't great.
Any help would be appreciated!
We do not need a fucking Scarlet Witch more than we need a second tank. I genuinely hate choosing Strange despite him being my second tank choice after Cap because people will start playing Wanda and nine times out of ten won't even do well. We are not a duo. That portal is to touch point, not to give you a clip. The team-up is just not that good for you not to go second tank.
I want this team up gone from the game. Make it her base kit, I'd be okay with that, but for the love of god stop going Wanda just because I'm hovering Strange. I genuinely don't want to choose him half the time because I don't want someone going Scarlet Witch when that is not a useful character 90% of the time.
I play on PS4, so the Blood Hunt mode isn't available to me. Disappointing for sure, but whatever, I guess I can watch my friends play it. Except for some reason I keep getting the lifeline serum despite the mode not being available to me, and NOW I apparently have the max you can have, which means there's gonna be this annoying ass notification in my screen I couldn't get rid of if I wanted?
Look, I appreciate I'm playing this game on an old ass system. I'd get something better if I wasn't disabled and trying to get back into my third year of university again. But why am I getting the notifications, the achievement challenges, the resources for a game mode I literally can't play? And I'd love to, but I appreciate that I can't, but don't tease me with it and definitely don't put a permanent notification on my screen I cannot get rid of for as long as this game mode lasts.
