Philly... how we feeling about the air quality?

Uh, I'm super excited for tomorrow but if the air quality is still "very unhealthy," I think I'm gonna pass... What are your thoughts?

Feeling kind of discouraged

I've been taking sema for 10 days now (just took my second shot 2 days ago). I'm on the microdose program where you start at .05 and go up to .25. I haven't lost even one pound. However, I have way way way less food noise, decreased appetite, not craving junk food, eating much less. When did you start to see results? I know being in the microdose program, the progress is slower but damn, i wish i had lost ONE pound!!!!!

Want to hear some positive experiences!

I'm 32, 5'5" and 132 pounds. I know, I know, normal BMI blah blah blah. Anyone had success losing the last 10-15 pounds w/ a GLP 1 when you're in a normal BMI range already w/ Noom? Thank you!

Wind Near Racquet Club Estates and Desert Park Estates

Okay I posted here a day ago about the jet path and learned that you do get used to it, according to the majority. However, I learned about the wind/sand/dust later. We just opened escrow and we live in a different state now so I can't just drive there to see it for myself (though i've been to PS many many times and went twice in the past few months).

I NEED BRUTAL HONESTY RIGHT NOW. How bad is the wind in the wind tunnel? Is it windy every day? Am I really going to be experiencing 40 mph winds every day ? Is it for one month out of the year? What am I looking at? I'm literally texting my realtor every hour because I'm *this* close from pulling out from escrow before the contingency period. Please and thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Panicking About Planes/Jet Path

So we just opened escrow on a dream house. Seriously perfect in every way... but its near the airport (in between Racquet Club Estates and Desert Park Estates). My husband can fall asleep through bombs falling, I swear. wouldn't say I'm particularly sensitive to noise as I've lived in pretty busy cities with lots of noise (london, philadelphia, sf) but the nerves of buying the house have fully kicked in and now I'm about to have a panic attack. Do you get used to it? The majority seem to agree that it depends on the season, and that you get used to it. Also, that most bothersome planes are the military jets which aren't like every hour. I'm also terrified of the air quality as people have freaked me out with the pollution (but where I live now is pretty polluted).

Officially moving to Palm Springs in August!

Tell me some of your favorite things about living in Palm Springs please 😄

My husband and I are so excited. Keep in mind, we have a base in LA (my parents live there and all our friends do as well).

How do you deal with complete dickhead opposing counsel?

I'm three years into practice and it is getting easier to calm down and not take the bait but oh my god. I'm ready to pull my hair out over how rude this guy is!!!!!!!! over us asking for an extension in discovery. HUNDREDS OF REQUESTS, which we've produced by the way but at every single angle and request, he's giving us a ridiculously hard time and I've never experienced it this bad. What do you tell yourself as a mantra to keep calm? I'm about to explode.

Randomly Picky w/ Food

My boy is 9 months old and has randomly started to refuse his breakfast. Everything is physically fine- just went to a vet for a full check up before his neutering appointment. What should I do? Just feed him once a day?

Fellowship Proved To Be Worse Than Residency </3

I'm here to just vent because I am so unbelievably over this whole process. There are two months left before my husband is an Attending and it feels UNBEARABLE. It's a Saturday night and his short nap has now turned into him going upstairs to bed. We went out to lunch (big deal!), came back and he said he'll take a nap and when I tried to wake him up (as usual, he got annoyed) and knowing we have to go get groceries or get something to eat, he went upstairs. I'm so disappointed and sad. I've had enough.

Long story short... I'm an attorney who's moving from LA to PS this summer because my husband, who is a physician got a great job at a hospital. I'm just wondering if there are any lawyers out there who can give some advice or guide me where I can meet some? Thanks!
