My 10,424 pt. Appreciation Days haul + GWP!

Most of these were restocks of products I’d held off on repurchasing so I could rack up the points during the Member Appreciation Event! I had a two coupons and a couple of gift cards that I’d bought previously during discounted gift card sales on DD. And I was able to get $75 Capital One cash back rewards so I feel like my planning paid off for once lol.

The Cécred Moisture Seal Lotion and the Max Size products (Hydrating Shampoo, Hydrating Conditioner, and Deep Conditioner) were all 5x points. But I figured the point value I would get was a better deal than buying them off the Cécred website like I typically do. The Juvia’s Place blush, bronzer and palette were also 5x but I didn’t mind. I would’ve bought them regardless of the multiplier event. Everything else was 10x. And the ma:nyo, L’Oréal and Avène products were on sale so they gave me a little wiggle room budget-wise.

Really happy about my haul and the points! I’ll most likely sit out the upcoming 21 DOB sale 😅

Mini haul x 5 GWPs stack 😋

I’d planned to wait for the August Member Appreciation Event (or at least the Diamond/Platinum Perks Day) but I couldn’t help myself 😩 I’ve wanted the NOYZ Only Human Milk Parfum for a while now and the 20% off coupon + 5x point multiplier (on clean beauty brands) gave me the perfect excuse opportunity to finally get it!

I was browsing the Lipstick Week deals and had only picked out a few e.l.f. glosses when I saw that yesterday’s and today’s GWPs were active at the same time. And that the NOYZ parfum and e.l.f. glosses also had GWPs! 💃🏾 I always forget to add my Diamond gift, but I actually remembered today, so there’s that too!!

I might make one more purchase later today (there are some MAC lipsticks and Morphe liners I’d like to get), but even if I don’t, I’m happy with my haul and the freebies!

One month post-big chop! 💃🏾

Decided to give my hair a fresh start and document my progress this time around!

I've worn my hair natural for most of my life and love pampering and doing all the things to her, but this'll be the first time that I follow a set routine/hair care schedule for an extended period. I’ve also experimented a lot with color, braids, different cuts and types of locs, and feel like I’m ready to finally grow and wear it out!!

I'm really happy with how much visible growth (especially density-wise) I'm seeing already, so I'm very excited for this journey!

Most I’ve ever walked in a day!

I average about 5-7miles per day. Decided to push myself and see how much ground I can cover. My legs feel like jelly 😅

My BOGO minis sale haul + skincare GWP!

Took advantage of the BOGO minis sale during the 4x points multiplier week and got a few products I’ve been wanting to try. I chose the skincare GWP, and I’m already loving a few of the samples! 😍

real hot girl ish! 😛

My HGS perfume was finally delivered!! 😍🔥
I ordered it through the Ulta app on the 8th so I was able to get both the holder and the bag in the same purchase!

Woohoo!! 🥳🎉

I consider myself moderately active, so working out isn’t new to me, but I find myself starting different programs, plans, or workout splits and never really completing/sticking to any of them. I tend to go super hard, burn myself out, take a break, and then unwittingly repeat the cycle. So this is kind of a big deal! 💃🏾

We did it, Joe! 🥹😂

Feeling very vulnerable posting this, but I feel like I have to share this milestone! This was one of the hardest things I’ve done in a long time. There were many days when I was sure I was going to fail despite giving it my all, and others when I broke down and almost gave up, but I’m so glad I pushed through!
I feel completely transformed. I start so many projects and programs and set so many goals, but I struggle immensely with actually completing them. I always start strong, but along the way I bargain with myself so much that I eventually abandon whatever I’m working on. The black-and-white nature of 75 Hard meant I didn’t have any room to compromise, and the objective rules also saved me from my own b.s.

Days 30–50 were the toughest for me because I’d lost my initial motivation but couldn’t "see" the end. I, of course, kept showing up anyway, and now I truly feel like my brain chemistry has changed as a result lol. Specifically my outlook on life and my confidence in my ability to handle everything that comes my way.

Lastly, I’m in awe of how different I feel and look. I often took the progress pictures just because it was one of the rules, but when I compared them toward the end of the challenge, I was blown away! I lost 30lbs and finally established a routine that I can build on going forward. I also feel so much more confident in my body and have a much deeper appreciation for what it can do!
