I was looking at Lifetime's promotional shoots for Season 4.5, and I noticed they picked a shot specifically where Chloe didn't know what she was doing. I'm guessing they took hundreds of these photos, so this must've been deliberate on Lifetime's part. I wonder if Abby had anything to do with that.

Does anyone agree with Christi in the latest BTTB that Burn looks like it was supposed to be Chloe's dance?

I could honestly see this having been scrapped from Chloe given there's no front aerial and Seeing Red, Fired Up, and Keep Burning exist. Abby had a thing for giving Chloe fire themed dances.

What are some dances that you absolutely hate?

I'm sorry but this dance physically makes me mad. Mackenzie's alignment is so much worse than usual in certain parts of this routine (front aerial and hand walk straddle turn) and she needed more time to clean whatever this is. I don't know how people like this routine so much, and the offshow one isn't really much to write home about either. I enjoy Mackenzie as a dancer but this dance was not it.

Jojo and Asia were ahead of their time as competition dancers IMO

I don't know if anyone sees the DM:NE kids or really any modern competition dancers, but I feel like these 2 remind me most of the modern competition dancers post-Dance Moms where it's all about shoving as much energy in as possible. While both of their techniques needed work, I really think that their stage presences reminds me of some of the New Era kids I see where they're ALWAYS on.

Fun fact: Chloe lost to Maddie every single competition except Nationals the year before the show, and then at the last competition she won the title that kept her at Abby's for Dance Moms. She was this close to leaving 👌
