Anyone recommend me some ~1ft HDMI cables with short/low-profile plugs?

I'm hooking things up in tight quarters and need a handful (5?) of 1-foot-long HDMI cables that have short plug ends, since several of the devices are facing each other and the cables won't fit if they're like an inch long on both ends

HD60S (external) doesn't seem to capture PS4 or PS5; flashes on and off

When I hook up either system to the HD60S, it appears to just try to connect repeatedly (flashes on and off over and over again).

I do see in the 4K Capture Utility app that it says "Source: 1080p59 [HDCP]", which i don't believe is the native; i thought it would be 1080p60, so this might be the issue but I do not see anything in the settings that would allow me to change this; either on the systems or in 4K Capture Utility.

EDIT: I disabled HDCP on the PS4 and now it shows up in 4K capture Utility, but it the screen to which it pipes through thr HD60 S is still just doing the blinking-on-and-off thing like before.

Any tips?

EDIT 2: disabling HDCP was the actual issue with the software; the rest was because the auxiliary HDMI input on my (newish) receiver doesn't work properly. Sucks.

Owner of many consoles; how do you store your corded controllers?

I have about a dozen consoles, and most are older. I always liked the idea of a pegboard (i currently just have a closed bin, which looks ugly and eventually the cords all just come unwrapped and get tangled anyway), because ive seen people make them look neat, but id love some suggestions for actual products or even 3d printed stuff to put into it to hold awkwardly shaped controllers like N64, Atari 2600 paddles, and so on.

I'm fine keeping some "extra" controllers in a bin because I seldom play 3-4 player games anyway, but itd be nice to put 1-2 controllers per console up on a wall somehow, with the cords neatly wrapped/managed.

Bonus points if anybody has tips for making charging stations for wireless controllers (ps3, 4, 5...) on a pegboard like this, too!

Stream Deck phone app; can it be used from multiple devices simultaneously? Can it be used to do the same things on multiple computers on which the software is installed?

Pretty much the questions.

Can my wife and I both have the app and be logged in to the same Elgato account to basically have the same "buttons" in our phone app so that either of us can use those buttons for the device with which it's paired?

Can buttons made on the app for one computer transfer to a second computer?

Assorted newbie questions after my first round of using Playnite/Apollo/Moonlight

  1. When I start a game, and then exit it, Playnite remains minimized. How can I correct this?

  2. Is there any way to bypass launchers (at least the simpler "choose a resolution"-type ones) for games in Playnite?

  3. Is it possible for the installation prompts to be in-UI?

  4. I see that there are some "remove duplicates" add-ons, so I'll explore those, but can I make it so that it keeps duplicate games that I have on multiple separate platforms? Similarly, is there one that'll hide some games that have additional assets like manuals that im currently seeing listed in my games library?

  5. I got a plugin that was supposed to help me auto-categorize games but it does not seem to work and so instead of being able to filter (for example) for games in certain genres or release years, i just hafta scroll through thousands of games in my librarby. Is there something I'm missing that'll help me auto-categorize games in a way that is useful in full-screen mode?

  6. Apollo/Moonlight related: the computer im streaming FROM is great, the home network is great, but the laptop kinda sucks (2018ish Dell "gaming laptop"). There is a slight lag with controller responsiveness after scrolling for a while. I have my speed set to max over the network. Is there something I could do better?

  7. Lastly, just looking for recs for skins or plugins or whatever to help deal with/organize/enprettify a massive library of thousands of games.

Can I make users/levels of visibility?

I see that I can hide games, which is fine, but is there a way to create users or something that hides certain games from just that user somehow, or like a parental lock type deal?

a usb external drive with an "operating system" with emulators sorted by all of the systems

and before he died he had shown me on his Hewlett Packard laptop that plugging this device - an m2 drive mounted inside a small USB enclosure - basically transmogrified the screen into an all-in-one menu to select the system to emulate.

what was he showing me? nobody else knows, he didn't really know anybody before and we weren't that close.

I want to emulate what he emulated

A game is on both GOG and Epic, and it costs the same on both. Why would I choose Epic?

Any game, hypothetically. All other things equal, why would I choose to buy on Epic?

What is the best way for me to organize my games into categories across platforms?

I'm relatively new to using Playnite, but what are my best options for auto-tagging games into categories across all my libraries so I can search and set filters for like Metroidvania games from 2010s or whatever
