Paid for express delivery, item still hasn’t been sent
I ordered an outfit from Etsy and the initial expected delivery date was 12-24 sept. I spoke with seller and we agreed I would pay for the express shipping with estimated delivery 14-17 sept. I contacted the seller on the 14th as it still hasn’t been shipped. They said there was in issue with the courier. It’s now the 17th and the item still hasn’t shipped. I really need this for an event, hence the express shipping. What can I do here? Can I get a refund on the express shipping? Would I need to do a chargeback? If the outfit comes by 20th I can still use it, however it’s otherwise pointless to me and I’ve paid for it for no reason.
Any advice would be appreciated
Monday restart
I’ve been focussed on my health for the past 6 months and it’s been fairly consistent. Despite holidays and social events, I’ve stayed relatively focussed on calories, steps and strength. The last few weeks however have been a struggle.
For reference I’m 5”9F and had lost 30lbs. I was 1 lb away from a healthy BMI and having not been there in years I was really proud of myself, and excited. I’ve gained 4lbs now. And it’s not hormonal or water weight-I’ve just been stressed and eating crap recently.
However, I’m really keen to refocus this week. Posting this in case anyone else is in a similar boat, or just thinking it’s Monday so a fresh start is needed.
A lot of us know what we need to do, so even if you’ve slipped somewhere, let’s get back on track.
Treating myself to les mis-where do I sit?
I’m finally booking les mis tickets, it’s been on my list for so long it’s become a thing that I am saving it for an occasion (probably doesn’t make sense!)
I’m trying to work out where to sit and if it’s ever possible to get cheaper tickets? I don’t want to risk booking on the day as I don’t live in London and would be making a trip down.
Any advice on where to sit and when to get tickets? I usually like the stalls but varied depending on the show.
Beginner question
Had my first ever pole class today and my god, I feel like I’ve been beaten up with a pole. The bruises have already started and my inner thighs-OUCH! I will be going back even though this wildly outside of my comfort zone.
I’m hoping you lovely people can help me make things ever so slightly easier for myself. What exercises can I do that will help my pole journey? I know the pole dancing itself will help with strength, but how can I add to it? I currently do strength training a few times a week at home. I thought I’d built up some upper body strength but today showed me I have work ahead of me!
Any advice would be very much appreciated
I’m at the weight that once made me cry
My weight has fluctuated a lot of over the years (I’m talking a 50 lb range). This time I’m determined to make the weight loss stick. After losing almost 30lbs I’m at 172lbs. A few years ago I vividly remember being this weight and being in tears because I felt so humongous. For reference I’m 5”9. My brain is really struggling to simultaneously feel humongous and also tiny because, compared to where I was six months ago, I do feel tiny. Has anyone else experienced this kind of confusion before? It’s really messed with my head and I don’t know how to feel right now.
Top music moments on the show
God is alive playing while the girls get ready for the hunt creeped me out in a good way. And livin on the edge as the finale for s3 was simply iconic.
What are your top moments? And if you’re young enough to not know some of the songs, which songs have you discovered?
