Hey everyone! I've been using regular disposable/cartridge razors forever and I'm thinking of switching to a safety razor for body hair. Honestly a big part of this is wanting to avoid the pink tax — women's razors are so overpriced for basically nothing extra, feels pointless to keep paying for it.

Before I invest, wanted to hear from anyone who's actually made the switch:

• Have you used a safety razor? How was the learning curve?
• Did you get a lot of cuts/nicks when you started, or does it get easier fast?
• Which blades do you use, and how often do you replace them?
• Any brands (razor + blades) you'd recommend for beginners in India — easy to find, good price point?
• Does it actually last longer/save money compared to cartridge razors long term?
• Any tips for underarms/bikini area specifically, since those spots feel trickier?

Also curious about a couple of alternatives I keep seeing ads for — the Luna razor and the Philips OneBlade Intimate trimmer. Has anyone tried either? Wondering if they're actually worth the price (₹1,900+ for the OneBlade) compared to just going the safety razor route.

Would love to hear real experiences before I buy one.

My boyfriend and I are sexually active and currently rely on the pullout method, but I'd really like to explore more reliable contraception options for peace of mind. I'm tired of the monthly anxiety and constant pregnancy tests.

The complication is that I have PCOS and irregular periods, which I'm actively working on reversing. So I'd love to hear from others who have navigated contraception with PCOS — what worked for you? I'm open to learning about different options (pill, IUD, implant, etc.) and would especially love to hear experiences with hormonal vs non-hormonal methods when dealing with irregular cycles.

Please note: we've already considered condoms and they're not for us, so I'm specifically looking for other contraception methods!

I'm also looking for a non-judgmental gynecologist or sexual health clinic in Delhi. As a student, affordability matters, so any recommendations for NHS services or student-friendly clinics would be amazing.
