New Router

I am on Telstra FTTP and have been using the Smartgen 2 router for ever, but now want a new router for better controls, so what is everyone’s recommendation for compatibility with NBN and Telstra?

And will I loose my Telstra landline if I ditch the Smartgen 2?

Thanks

iPhone 17 and CarPlay

Just purchased new car and using /engaged Apple CarPlay / Siri for the first time. Have noticed massive battery drainage overnight when my phone is idol, just sitting on the counter.

Is it trying to communicate with the car in the driveway? How do I minimise this battery drain?

Off the beaten track….

Aside from the obvious French Quarter and Old Town, which other parts/suburbs of Hanoi are worth exploring to soak up Vietnamese culture? We will be in town 6 days, before heading to Ninh Binh and Mai Chau, so keen to explore beyond Hanoi city centre.

Any Red River cruises through CBD?

(Will be skipping Ha Long this trip.)

Sansui 331

I have a Sansui 331 in great cosmetic condition, however I have a left channel fault where the audio crackles when the unit is first turned on, but after a few hours, left channel is ok. Happens on all input sources.

Seeking help to identify which components I need to target to fix this issue.

Thanks Phil

2025 Qashqai

Looking at either the Ti-L petrol or the Ti-L ePower for considerably more money.

Appreciate thoughts of those I might have already been through this quandary.?

This question is keeping me awake at night, hoping for insights.

We have a 23 year son living with us, diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, ODD, Anxiety etc. He is on the NDIS and gets a disability pension. He has spent a short period in Supported Employment but dropped out of that.

The question we have is regarding his future living options as he cannot live with us forever/we won't be around forever (in our 60s now). So what happens when we both 'drop off' and son is left by himself? (Note: extended family is very small and will be no support).

What steps should we be thinking about now, the safeguard his future?

Thanks
