hey yall! ill be traveling to some beaches in the next month (southern europe) and im wondering what everyone’s strategy to keeping your shit safe is. Obviously leave bags in hotel, but say keys, phone, wallet, camera ? I cant leave it on the shore by itself…. is there some sort of waterproof bag i can use? genuinely confused about what to do 😅😅

hi all! im going to be in barcelona for a wedding, and so i decided id travel solo for a bit afterwards.

Heres the info: I will be in Barcelona, and my flight back home is from Amsterdam. I have 10 days to travel between wedding & my flight back. My ideal vibe is chill beach days, some art & history evenings, and a nice local bar scene (not clubbing). i’ll also be traveling light, a carry-on (on my back) and like, a fanny pack or tote.

Here are my questions:
- Are there any coastal/beach cities in France you would absolutely recommend? I was thinking of staying in Montpellier or Marseille, any thoughts on either of those?
- For the actual travelling, should i “splurge” & get a rail pass? if so, is there a specific line i should get? Otherwise, bus seems cheaper, but ive heard some horror stories, so idk what to believe :(
- lastly, im planning on spending my last few days in amsterdam, naturally, but wondering if it would be worth my time spending a night in brussels? or maybe just making it a day trip?

For context, I have a wedding in Sietges, ill be doing la Costa Brava before the wedding, and after the wedding I will have 10 days in which I plan to travel the south of France, potentially Brussels, and end in Amsterdam.
I’ve chatted to some friends who’ve recommended me a few places, and they suggested staying in Marseilles and doing day trips from there.
I’m looking for other perspectives, or thoughts on this plan, specifically the southern France part! What im looking for is a beach-heavy trip, ideally queer friendly, and somewhat on a budget (hostels, cheap beers & wine, travel by bus, and so on). Doesnt have to be Marseille, as i havent booked accommodation yet, so happy to hear about other options.
Also, i do speak some French, and my first language is Spanish, plus fluent in English, so i should be fine getting around (for the most part!)

is there anywhere i can do a walk-in blood test? i have my dr requisition. ideally open after 4:30pm/5pm 🙏🏽
