Looking for players [Online] [Other] Kids on Bikes! First time running it

Hey all! I’m undertaking the challenge of running Kids on Bikes for the first time. I run a lot of different systems so I’m no stranger to being a GM.

Synopsis:

Midwest Mysteries: It’s 1994 in the small town of Greenville, Pennsylvania. The summer has just begun and you are filling your time with baseball, super nintendo, and of course rising your bikes with friends around town. Bodies begin turning up unexpectedly, missing people, strange occurrences.

Hey, I made a dice pool RPG and I'd love your thoughts!

So...this is a dice pool system that uses the d4 to resolve rolls and conflict. It is fiction forward and I've called it Terra Infirma.

The central premise is that you inhabit a world where the world tree encapsulates the land with its canopy. It is the single thing that provides and sustains life in Terra. You take on the role as Wardens. Charged with hunting down and eliminating horrors. These horrors leave behind a magical residue known as Chloros which can be used to improve your attributes (leveling up), craft magical items, spells, and actually repair structural damage to the tree and therefore the world.

The hotel room next to me put out a bag of trash into the hallway.

in this bag, sitting on the very top of all the other trash was a *nearly* full box of those sandwich cookies with the frosting in the middle that I love. I was on my way to the fitness center when I saw them, and in my head I told myself… “You can’t be the guy that eats trash…” so I resolved that if the cookies were still there when I got back from the gym I would take them.

during my workout the cookies were all I could think about. I was nearly running afterwards and sure enough, the bag was still there with the box of cookies still on top. without even debating myself on the matter any further I snatched them up and immediately ate one.

I’m a trash eater I guess. quitting drinking has given me a hellacious sweet tooth.

As long as the status quo remains unchanged with the Strait of Hormuz, the price of corn will continue to bleed up. The market is looking forward to future supply issues, even if we began this year at surplus and are on track for planting this year.

The trouble at the Strait was the beginning of a systemic problem for energy and food costs that will be felt for a long time.
