Seeking advice for curls that dry too fast and frizz so much (after applying hair masks, wetting it, leave in conditioners …)

  1. I use Curlsmith core strength shampoo, John Frieda frizz ease conditioner

  2. After that I use SheaMoisture curl enhancing smoothie

  3. Air dried

I’ve been wanting to grow my hair out because I want to slickback my curls but everytime I apply any type of product (sea salt spray, argan oil, shea curl cream, hair masks …) it just dries out the moment I go outside and especially in hot weather. It then frizzes a lot.

PrivatePulse.online – A free calculator to value startup equity using secondary market data

409A calculation tool

Hey everyone. Startups are staying private for 7+ years, and the 409A valuation employees see in their dashboards is often completely detached from reality.

To bring more transparency to tech compensation, I built PrivatePulse. It’s a free calculator that aggregates data across 100+ unicorns and uses 4 independent valuation methods to show what an outside investor would likely pay for those shares today.

No accounts, no capturing of data—just an honest look at the numbers.

Let me know what you think!

Built a free calculator to help startup employees bridge the gap between stale 409As and real market value

I see a lot of people here trying to value their equity packages based on the company's official 409A valuation. The problem is, 409A valuations are lagging indicators—they don't show what an outside investor or the secondary market would actually pay for your shares today. Platforms like Shareworks, Carta, and Fidelity just track your vesting schedule, not the real market value.

To solve this, I built a free calculator that covers over 100 private unicorns (OpenAI, Stripe, Anthropic, SpaceX, etc.). It aggregates secondary market data and uses 4 independent valuation methods to give you an honest, realistic range:

- Peer Multiples
- Secondary Implied
- Primary with Decay
- Sector Momentum

It takes 2 minutes, requires no account, and doesn't ask for personal data. Would love to hear your thoughts on the math and if the numbers match your expectations.

Is it safe to charge my iPad like this (battery health-wise)?

When studying in the library or at home, I use my iPad to write notes and it dies after using it for +-8 hours (iPad Air 2024). The screen of the iPad is (mostly) always on during those 8 hours.

I used to charge my iPad via my MacBook Pro but this got me thinking, does this have any significant negative impact on the battery health of one of the devices, if not both?
