Rebuilt the Pokemon Gym in Bubbly Basin. Had to expand the original gym horizontally a bit to fit the inside area but pretty glad how it turned out. The inside is inspired by atsumoritoma on Twitter and the outside is inspired by u/BaePacFen. The arena outside is a pretty genius idea. It fills up the outside nicely.

There’re wild peacocks roaming in my neighborhood and saw an injured peacock yesterday. Not sure what hit it but It’s missing its head feathers and part of the skin on its head. We took it into the garage overnight (it didn’t resist much when they usually do) and provided food and water just in case there’re coyotes but not sure what else to do to help him. Called some animal hospitals and they all said they don’t treat peacocks. Today it’s mainly hiding in a bush and didn’t move much but I think it still eats and drinks. Would he recover on his own? What else can I do to help him?

Inspired from benbebennoben on X. Saw a library build with Mew blocks being the center focus and feel like this would be perfect for the underground ruin in Withered Wasteland so I gave it a try. I think it turned out pretty well. Also turned the throne room and the gold blocks room into a huge reading room.

Went to the Wuwa x IPStar collab cafe in Shanghai China. All the food is inspired by the collab characters and they look pretty awesome. They all come with a free gift. But they taste mediocre as expected. There’re also a lot of merch and I couldn’t resist and grabbed some. Unfortunately Chisa plush was sold out when I was there. Overall it’s a great experience!

Went to the official pokemon gyms (Pokemon center) in Shanghai China. There’re two locations and they carry similar stock. One is in Wu Jiao Chang the other one is in Long Zhi Meng. The mascots of these 2 gyms are Cramorant and Veluza (pretty interesting choice). Though from my experience the one in Long Zhi Meng is more popular. They both carry plenty stock of newly released plushes and Pokemon cards. They also just released 30th anniversary fridge magnets for fighting/steel and rock types. I grabbed a couple of my favorite pokemon. I wonder if us Pokemon center will release these too. Overall I think it’s a wonderful experience and a must visit for Pokemon fans if you’re traveling in China.

Went to the official pokemon gym store in Shanghai China. Pokemon cards are also very popular in China so I was surprised that almost all the tcg products are still available in store including the first partner illustrations, the latest gem packs etc. Wish US is the same situation but too bad we got scalpers camping 24/7.

Went to the pokemon pop up event in Shanghai China. It’s flower themed and you can bring your own pokemon plush toys and make flower braids to decorate them and take pictures. I ended up bringing the derp lucario plush. You also get a stamp book that you can collect stamps at various locations. If you get all the stamps you can get a pin. There’s also a booth that gives you materials to diy a card holder yourself. The line was pretty long but you can also line up to take photos with pokemon mascots. I also love that there’s arts of all the 151 pokemon drawn by the people who participated the pop up event and they all look amazing. It’s awesome!!

Went to the jojo world in Shibuya Tokyo. It isn’t a huge store but has a ton of cool jojo decorations. There’s also a star shaped screen on the ceiling that will occasionally play clips of jojo anime. When I was there it’s playing the last scenes in part 3. Went on a weekday and there wasn’t much wait. It’s a great experience as a jojo fan!
