Charging outside question
I have my uncharted outside, and the level 2 charger is also outside. On those days that it is raining, I hesitate to plug it in. Has anyone used those covers that are magnetic to protect the charging port? Is it worth it

I know this is related to the 12v parasitic discharge but I'm a little confused as to why.
So driver about 150 miles, decided to add 20% to finish to destination at an Ionna charger (very nice by the way). Started the charge, go in the vehicle, turned in on, display asked if I wanted room mode, said yes. I'm about a minute, got a warning that battery was low so I turn off.
Looking at the ancel monitor, it is charging the battery as well as traction battery, ancel says state of charge was around 12.59. what the hell
I do still have the app but have played with the whole 2:55 hour but on charging schedule. Sometime mentioned removing the sensor so it charges higher rate. I'm tempted to get a better battery, AGM, higher amps
Good Lord, I've tried calling numerous times. They have so many different phone numbers in the business web site and when I finally get through it isn't even a business rep, who gave me another number to call.
I was a us cellular customer that merged, and now can't even talk to someone. Trying to go to the local store is useless. Is this how T-Mobile does business, because it sucks.
New EV Subaru Uncharted owner, just installed a level 2 charger.
Works great. My question is regarding overnight charging because of reduced rates from utility.
It will reach 100 percent more than likely when I'm sleeping. Is it safe to leave it plugged in after it has reached 100. I know this is a newbie question, but just want to be safe
Context.
New uncharted sport, love it. Prior to that had a Camry hybrid, so used the remote app all the time. So am using the Subaru version.
Not having the parasitc 12v draw that I am aware of, but I drive daily for the most part.
I am going on a trip, where I will be leaving my car parked for 10 days. Does it make sense to deactivate the car from the app while away, so it reduces the problem and then activate later? I read that there is also a fuse, should that be pulled? Just want to make sure I can start my car after the trip. Tia
Hope you never have to use them , but they saved me.
I was traveling down the main road in my area, speed limit or less. Saw a car at the intersection, stopped at the still sign. As I got very close, I saw them start to accelerate. In typical slow motion, I didn't have a lot of time to react, tried to swerve, but no time or room to do much. This 20 year old girl t-bones me directly on the driver side door. Spins me around 180 until I land in a ditch.
Here's where the safety features kick in. The exterior of the driver door is caved in but not the interior. Amazing engineering. Every air bag deployed except the steering wheel. The air bag cushioned the impact totally. As I am coming around, I hear the Toyota care contacting me, they know I am in an accident and wanting to know if they should call 911. They also immediately can my insurance. (Edit. I had a driving monitor from state farm, I have a feeling that device notified insurance, not Toyota care, but I know Toyota knew about the accident and did want to know if I needed assistance)
I walked out of the car with nothing but a sore shoulder. I'm 72, could have been so bad. I'm so impressed with the engineering and thought that went into this car. If you own a Camry, you should feel very good about your decision. Sorry for being so verbose, but want you to have another reason to love your car.
