How do you organize your instrument numbers? I usually follow the rule: song row 1 is number 10, song row 2 is number 20 and so on. We do the same with chains. But then, for instruments, I just double-click to number them along, but I'm not so sure whether this makes a lot of sense because sometimes, if you want to do a variation, the whole thing gets a bit confusing. Do you have a sensible system for numbering instruments?
I bought my model:02 a year ago, but it took me months to really get into the tracker workflow. I really wanted to like that thing, but every time I took it up, it frustrated me immensely. Probably it's because it's not really the perfect tool for my genre, ambient. Now I can't let go of it. Such a fun and interesting device. Still, I think there's room for improvement. My wish list is:
Lower the profile of the buttons, or make them slightly recessed. As they are, they're sticking out a bit much.
Add one, or better two, wheels onto the device, freely assignable by the user. I'd recommend left and right of the screen endless encoders recessed into the flanks nearly flush with the case so if you don't need them, you don't have to use them. I would assign one of them for value and the other one for overall volume.
Make the timestamp usable. As it is now, not continuing when you have switched off the machine, it doesn't make any sense.
Add an option to rename files. It would really help to organize things on the machine without the need for a computer.
Either add one more in/out TRS to allow external effects to be used, or even better make those MIDI inputs freely assignable to in/out, MIDI, or CV gate just like the OPXY.
It would be great, but not really necessary, if the internal speakers could be a little bit better. At the moment, they are totally useless.

Does anyone keep on using the control grip for the 907x? It seems like an accessory which grows old quite fast. I love this camera, but shooting it in portrait mode grows rotten after a few shots. So any long time love?

I'm a man in my mid-50s, I discovered my bisexuality late in life at around 45 years old, although I know I was always bisexual. I have been married to the same woman for 30-plus years and we are still living a beautiful partnership and love affair. Looking back I know I had a lot of romantic homosexual friendships though I never acted physically upon it, but as I was living a very heteronormative life with three beautiful kids and as I was always very much in love and physically attracted to my wife, I never really realized that I would crave for the same sex. My wife and I realized at about the same time our bisexual nature. It was a fantastic relief to discover who we were by trying out numerous configurations but now I'm really lacking clarity.
Why must it be so bloody confusing?
When I'm with a woman I'm craving a man. When I'm having sex with a man I'm looking out for women. Group sex is a solution but not really practical in daily life. When I am in a gay sauna I am truly seeing female forms in the steam room although my mind knows it can't be. When I am looking at porn, it's 80% homosexual, but I could never do without female bodies. Currently we are having a major heat wave in Europe. Therefore there is a lot of skin on the road but I never ever look at men. My brain screams ‚tits, Tits, TITS!!!, I adore the female form. I love to look at women. I love to watch them walk but sexually I am so much more into men.
I prefer clothed women to naked women but much more prefer naked men to clothed men.
My wife knows this probably better than I do but still I would really like to have more clarity. How can I get this?

I would like to reiterate how fantastic this new audio interface is. I have been using it now for a couple of days in different kinds of setups, and whatever I throw at it, it just delivers. Really worth checking out. This is my current setup. Not 100% finished yet. A few cables are missing, but what I get out of it now sounds fantastic.
I saw a couple of complaints about the price, but I think, for all you're getting, it's really worth it. Additionally, it seems to be a really small developer, so definitely worth supporting.
I just received mine today and cobbled together a small battery powered cooky tray setup to try it out and it works like a charm! Finally someone made such a thing. I have been wanting this for years! I use a tx6 for something like that, but now I have 8 sends!

The latest firmware update is very unstable on my machine. It keeps on crashing and freezing start up. Time is way longer than before, up to a minute. I will revert to version 14 in the meantime.
I have a bunch of presets which somehow do not show up on my OP-XY, but when I connect it to the Field Kit, I see them. Strangely enough, two of the about 25 projects get seen by the OP-XY; all the others don't. What could be the reason for that? The preset substructure looks exactly the same. Unfortunately, I can't recall where I found those presets.
I know that many a waiting for longer lenses, a new macro, a new high speed lens and so on, but what I really want is a reissue of the 45 f4 lens in the same form as the 28P with modern AF. I love the rendering of the current version, but even more do I love its form factor, both on the x2 and the 907. Just the AF ist properly shite. Is there a demand for a cheapish and smallish X lens? I'd think so!
And if I could dream add a tiny ring to the lens to control exposure like on the V lenses, but I know this won't happen.
Suddenly I have this weird glitch with my camera: When I have it set to instant review it very often shows not the last picture, but the one before. Even if the camera was switched off for hours or days, even if the HD was formatted. if I press the play button it is always the last picture, this only affect instant review.
Anyone else out there with this problem or a way to solve this?.
Did anyone manage to replace those knobs for lower-profile ones? I want to slip this into my OP-XY bag, and it feels like those knobs are way too high and pokey. Are they replaceable?
I'm a Ricoh GR user for decades, had nearly all iterations of the GRs. Somehow the GR4 keeps on switching on in my pocket. I never had this problem with the older cameras. Do you share my observation or is it just bad luck? I already have a small nick in my front element which annoys me big time.
