The latest firmware update is very unstable on my machine. It keeps on crashing and freezing start up. Time is way longer than before, up to a minute. I will revert to version 14 in the meantime.
I have a bunch of presets which somehow do not show up on my OP-XY, but when I connect it to the Field Kit, I see them. Strangely enough, two of the about 25 projects get seen by the OP-XY; all the others don't. What could be the reason for that? The preset substructure looks exactly the same. Unfortunately, I can't recall where I found those presets.
I know that many a waiting for longer lenses, a new macro, a new high speed lens and so on, but what I really want is a reissue of the 45 f4 lens in the same form as the 28P with modern AF. I love the rendering of the current version, but even more do I love its form factor, both on the x2 and the 907. Just the AF ist properly shite. Is there a demand for a cheapish and smallish X lens? I'd think so!
And if I could dream add a tiny ring to the lens to control exposure like on the V lenses, but I know this won't happen.
Suddenly I have this weird glitch with my camera: When I have it set to instant review it very often shows not the last picture, but the one before. Even if the camera was switched off for hours or days, even if the HD was formatted. if I press the play button it is always the last picture, this only affect instant review.
Anyone else out there with this problem or a way to solve this?.
Did anyone manage to replace those knobs for lower-profile ones? I want to slip this into my OP-XY bag, and it feels like those knobs are way too high and pokey. Are they replaceable?
I'm a Ricoh GR user for decades, had nearly all iterations of the GRs. Somehow the GR4 keeps on switching on in my pocket. I never had this problem with the older cameras. Do you share my observation or is it just bad luck? I already have a small nick in my front element which annoys me big time.
