$112.30 (£82.99). For three adults and a bird, 7-10 days+

$112.30 (£82.99) in total, two hauls. Will feed three adults and a bird for at least 7 days, I'll push for 10. Many items pictured will last longer than 10 days.

*Disclaimer: it's hurricane season so I like to sporadically buy canned foods before things get crazy. Our worst months are ahead so I just like to prepare.*

The second image was: $92.25 (£68.17)

I went to the store on Saturday and got mostly everything I needed, until I realized I missed some things. The second picture is what I got on Saturday. The six pounds of beef for $8.75 was such a steal, I regret not getting another. The cheese, burger patties, sandwich bread, and the toilet paper will last several weeks. The canned foods will last months.

The first photo was $20.05 (£14.82)

I went in today for shredded cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and hot dog buns. But, I have zero self control and always check out the clearance sections while I'm there, and I'm glad I did.

All of the meat will be frozen. Some apples, cheez its, and granola bars will go to the guys that pickup the trash. The remaining snacks and cheeses should last me and my husband several weeks.

We have plenty of food in the freezer, refrigerator, and pantry.

Hot girls stock up on ammo.

I was followed by loss prevention until I got to the exit doors and had some boomer complain that Obama is why he can't buy boxes of 22's for fifty cents.

I can't wait to go to the range tomorrow. It's been way too long!

$132.92 (£98.46) for two adults and a bird. Occasionally three adults.

A few months ago my elderly neighbor was a victim of a phishing scheme, and is being very tight with her money. She's really healthy, and I'm not; so I can't feed her everyday, but I do when I make fish or chicken. It's usually one to two times a week.

This week's haul was way more expensive than my normal weekly hauls but I needed dishwashing detergent ($10.49), toilet paper ($6.59) and I was craving sushi ($24.48) so I spent $41.56 on those four items alone. I'm allowed to treat myself. "Spin the wheel for a deal, you might win a hot meal."

The pantry and freezer are full so this should last us 7-10 days depending on what all I cook. The fresh produce will be slim pickings towards the end but I still have plenty of bell peppers and broccoli in the freezer.

I have a lot of other protein in my freezer and a full pantry that includes couscous, quinoa, lentils, chickpeas, noodles and rice. I still have broccoli and some yellow onions from my last haul.

  • overnight oatmeal in oat milk blended with almond butter maybe with a banana
  • cereal with a banana
  • yogurt with apples, bananas &/or cereal
  • fruits & carrots
  • leftovers or sandwiches.

Dinner plans: Lots of side salads PLUS

  • Hot dogs with baked broccoli and carrots, & cole slaw
  • Teriyaki chicken wonton tacos with baked teriyaki glazed carrots

🔥 Hot ▲ 9.9k r/fuckHOA+1 crossposts

For a few weeks now, I've been letting a neighbor on my street use my driveway because our HOA is on a power kick. Last night he brought me two beers after Mexico won. I'm Mexican. 🥹

To stay on track of the sub:

Our HOA sucks and have only gotten worse in these last couple years. We got a letter for grass growing in between the cracks on the sidewalk. My 81 year old neighbor got a letter because of her outdoor chair/stool she sits in to garden was on was too visible, even though it was on the SIDE OF HER HOUSE by her water hose. I live next her and never noticed it.

Now back to follow-up on the caption:

My neighbors kids live with him and so does his wife's mom, they all have cars but one of their cars can't fully fit in their driveway, they've been given several fines because the trunk sticks out into the street. They're behind on their fines and have recently been threatened with a foreclosure and that's when he reached out to me. We've only ever spoken to each other maybe 10 times in the eight years I've been here and most of those interactions were because of my Halloween decorations. Anyways, I have no problem with them using my driveway for two reasons 1. I'm a renter which is technically illegal in this neighborhood 2. I hate HOA.

Cleaning day.

Today I'm just going to focus on my rings, hoops, pearls and opals. I hate cleaning but I love my jewelry. Plus, I still can't move very much due to this hamstring injury, so might as well do what I can. At least until the next world cup match! ⚽🥅

$106.18 Texas (£80.40) Top off + pantry restock

The chips and crackers are for an upcoming work pot luck.

The cheese and salmon will last 2 weeks. I'll cook one salmon tonight and freeze the other. Both will feed us for at least two days.

The sandwich meat will be put in the freezer and will last several weeks.

The meatballs will feed us for two days. Paired with spaghetti and salad.

Dumplings will be paired with the Salmon and will last two weeks.

All of the fresh produce will all be eaten by Sunday.

The almonds and wonton strips should last set weeks and will go with our salads.

We'll have one can of chili this week with hotdogs and one next month.

The oat milk will go with oatmeal and cereal that I already have. And the yogurt will go with strawberries that I have from last week's haul.

The toilet paper, foil, boxed lasagna, ramen, and couscous will last several months. I really just got the cheap ramen because I've been craving jailhouse noodles. Lol. And the boxed lasagna is great to have on lazy days, and is being discontinued. :(

✨✨✨✨✨

*I have a lot of protein in my freezer so yes, I'll eat more than just a bag of chips and carbs. I also have broccoli, carrots, apples, and strawberries (now frozen) from last week.*
