Zack Attack was all lip syncing. So was the Glee Club. So were the dance bands (Slater and Jessie singing Michael Bolton during the Zack/Kelly breakup), etc.
But for some reason they let Lark, Tiffani and Elizabeth shine as Hot Sundae.
Should’ve done it more often.
I actually couldn't have agreed more with Mal that they shouldn't have ended up together in a happy ending.
That's how I fully expected it to end. With a more realistic "The Breakup" ending where sometimes (maybe even most of the time) people just aren't meant to be and don't end up together, happily ever after.
So I’ve built a few NH35 builds and have never had an issue with fitment of the movement to the case.
I bought a case off of AliExpress explicitly said Miyota 8215 8205.
The movement I’m working with is the Miyota 8N24 which I shares the same outer diameter dimension as the 8215 but is slightly thinner by 0.17mm.
Is there a way to make this work with what I have pictured? The case came with the metal spacer. I bought additional plastic ring spacers (white one pictured) and I have an outer ring dial for the markers that I am planning to use watchmaker double sided tape to adhere it.
As it stands now, if I use the dial, adhered to the front of the metal spacer, then sit the movement in the metal spacer, if I close the caseback it touches the movement and prevents the rotor from swinging around.
GODDAMN!!!!!!!!
The few models like the FOIS which have straight lugs look so much better.
Brought my 2019 in for a service and spoke to the advisor about my oil consumption and transmission concerns long term. I’m at about 105k and have 25k left on my extended warranty so I wanted to get the most out of it and run this truck as long as I can.
The advisor said he’d look into the oil consumption issues and transmission. They noted the jerky shifting on cold starts. I told them I add 1qt of oil every 2500-3000 miles and he said they only really get concerned when you add a quart every 1000-1500 miles which frustrated me.
I went on vacation so I dropped it off last Thursday 7/2, for a week for them to triage and do what they could under warranty. I got no proactive communication from them until I pinged them for an update today.
After a week this is the text reply I got. I’m concerned they’re not doing more. Is my concern founded or are they doing the right things so far?
anyone shocked they haven't done this one yet?
The movie would’ve been better ended had they not ended up together.
Would’ve been more realistic. More emotional and nostalgically impactful.
Would’ve been better.
Are they not just essentially potting each other down?
This makes no sense to me.
This is the watch I wanted to buy, 6 years ago to the month. But at that time I could only justify $3,000. So I picked up a Tudor Black Bay steel. Pretty much the poor man’s version of this watch. Granted it’s not a GMT but it has very much the same styling in that it had the steel case, steel bezel, black dial, oyster bracelet, etc.
I had always planned on eventually upgrading to the Explorer II and last week I finally pulled the trigger.
I absolutely love it. The thin case at only 12mm compared to the 14mm+ of the Black Bay.
The lack of hype that keeps it under the radar. I wanted a Rolex that would go less noticed and continue the original “tool / sport” watch feel and look. I couldn’t be more happy with the purchase.
It’s a 2007/2008 serial with no holes and engraved rehaut. The photo makes it look like there’s a blemish on the lower left lug but it’s the photo. It’s in pristine condition. No bracelet stretch at all.
Also pictured is my Tudor Black Bay steel for comparison.
Bill is such a 90210 head, I’m severely disappointed.
Super stupid but extremely rewatchable movie.
Beverly D’Angelo throwin 115mph
I think Bill’s a closet fan. He brings it up often, namely to make sun of Freddie Prinze Jr’s pitching mechanics but still.
Anderson lower
10.5” barrel
YHM quad rail
GG&G flip up BIUS
C-More RDS
SB PDW brace
Would throw in six 30rd MagPul mags
I was hoping with the mags, $750 but probably reaching?
Hopefully this is the right place to post this.
I built a pondless rock water feature in the corner of my yard. It’s been working great for a few months now but there’s been some obvious algae growth on the boulders.
What is the best way to deal with this? Weekly I’ve been adding 4-5 drops of Fountec Algaecide / Clarifier which I use on a couple other fountains in my yard but this fountain doesn’t seem to show improvement.
