I added the “don’t taste your own cum” part because for some reason the models are obsessed with that “kissing you so you can taste yourself” and I hate it so much. If you’re into it just delete that part.

If it’s not a customizable scenario, put it in the custom LLM part. You can add more to the “realism” part but I didn’t add them on Reddit since they’re darker themes. Brutality and noncon can go there if it fits your themes.

When your roleplay is getting boring, say:

You can get specific such as “cheating plot twist” or “NPC gets bad news.”

You can also tune it such as “minor” or “extreme” or “aggravate” or “gently” such as [OOC: create extreme plot twist for NPCname]

You CAN make it related to you but I tend to make it unrelated so the NPC can have drama.

Little bonus for fleshing out NPC in-game: using NPC thoughts. Another app I’ve used introduced “thinking” where you can see what the NPC is thinking before the response is generated. I missed having that feature so I added a minuscule version of it:

To me, it gives more insight into the NPC’s life.

In an RP I just did, a guy I sat next to plagiarized my assignment as his own but his “internal thought” talked about how my work made him nervous about his own answers and he did it without thinking. Meanwhile he verbally said it’s “no big deal.” The character was one of those stand-offish bullies so it was interesting to see this thought.

It’s also funny to read some of their intrusive thoughts too!

I’m a gold 2 Brigitte main but I’m so burnt out on support I’m trying to play tank. I’m rotating Ram, Zaria, and Orisa.

Specifically talking escort and hybrid when the game could go either way.

As a supp I feel like I know everything going around me. Who to health pack, killing or harassing enemy dive, making sure my other support is okay.

As a tank I feel blind without vc. I need someone to tell me the team’s doing ok, so I can pressure or I need to come back. I need to know if my Mercy is just focusing on our dps and not healing me or if she’s getting dove so badly she needs help so I can play safer. Sometimes I don’t realize my whole team backed up away from me (not dead/respawn just backed up).

If one person says something as simple as “back up” or “you’re alone,” I can adjust. Even pings help. I can’t force them to talk to me.

I know it’s possible without comms, I’ve seen it in my rank.

I can’t tell. I’m in placement matches right now so I don’t have a definitive tank rank, but I’m a gold brig/mizuki main if that gives any context to general skill level.

Both up to date on shots, neutered, indoor cats. One is 5 the other is 2.

We’ve had a flea problem for a year and constantly treating the apartment. It’s good enough that they don’t bite people anymore but my cats still have them.

The problem is that the preventatives don’t seem to consistently work. We used Advantage for 5 months and it seemed to work, then it stopped working on the 2 year old cat. Finally I decided to try the prescription stuff at his next checkup.

My vet prescribed 3 months and said I can try one tube on my other cat since they can’t see him until next month. Today, both of them are scratching and itching like I’ve never seen before. My 10 yo son is being evaluated next week per a vague suggestion from his teacher. I definitely believe he has ADHD given the symptoms and after lurking in this sub, I’m shocked how close some of the stories are to my experiences with him.

Problem is, he goes with his father every summer and he is neglectful about meds. He has joint issues and needs to take vitamins and pediasure to put on weight. He also needs an inhaler he takes twice a day. Their father claims “he doesn’t need those things with me, he only has those issues with you.” He always loses weight by the time he comes back and his flare ups get so bad he’s in tears.

My son’s father was also diagnosed with adhd himself as a child and threw his meds out when he was supposed to take them stating he didn’t have adhd, his mother was just neglectful (note: his mother is a piece of work but she’s not the one who diagnosed him).

My worry is that he’s going to tell my son he doesn’t need them or that doctors are untrustworthy. This man is the type that believed COVID was a sham and then got covid. He thinks therapists hate men and mental health issues aren’t real, they’re just excuses for a weak mind.

Any experiences here? Is there any legal repercussions or a way I can enforce medication, if it comes to that?

I used plus for over a year and I just subscribed to ultra. I do a long term romance roleplay with a giant sandbox world so memory and complexity has always been an issue. I wanted to share this with anyone who has the same problem and I think it may help free users too.

First, I truly do not think Ultra had any impact on better long-term memory than Plus. They also seem to hallucinate quickly (Lumina and Paragon, Eclipse seems *okay*). I’m a long-term Oracle and Chimera user and will we downgrading back to Plus.

That being said, I do not think the models, across the board are capable of long term memory.

What’s helped me.

After roughly 75 messages, I run recap all. I copy and paste it into a notepad. Then at 150 messages, I do it again. After, delete or edit anything that you need to change or don’t need to carry over because it’s not relevant anymore.

Then I go to ChatGPT and paste both of them. I type:

“Create memory cards for each of these in copy and paste markdown without stylization. Each memory card should contain a title separate from the markdown, and then a single copy and paste markdown for each memory card. Memory card content should not exceed 500 characters.”

I know it caps at 1000 characters but for the sake of keeping it simple for the bot, I do 500.

Open up a new chat with the same bot.

Copy and paste each memory card.

Update your persona. For example, if the bot gave you a silver necklace, change your persona to include “silver necklace gifted by Kira during first anniversary.”

If it was a major lore event, you can also write the full recap of it in a memory card like:

*”Kira gifts {{user}} a silver necklace on their first anniversary. On a summer night a year ago, they went to a carnival. {{user}} won Kira a brown teddy bear which Kira keeps in her room. Kira surprised {{user}} with the silver necklace that says “forever” on it, under the fireworks.”*

If there is a major lore event related to a character, such as one of them got married but it’s not in the original scenario, also make a memory card for it.

Roleplay!

Repeat the steps for recapping at 75 and 150 messages.

Delete anything you no longer need or combine things so it’s not redundant.

Start a new chat and continue. Dont forget to update your persona!

Doing this every 150 messages may seem excessive so you can try to push it to 200 or more, experiment with it. For me, this is the cleanest my transfers have been.

Wanted to share this for anyone who was hoping to subscribe for memory purposes. I’ve used this method for months because I almost solely do long-term RPs lasting weeks. My longest is 3 months. This method is still cleaner than Ultra and takes like 5 minutes to do.

If you want to subscribe to Ultra just for the models, I’d say they’re only *slightly* better, but still requires a lot of direction and OOC on my part. Oracle was messed up for me when it messed up for everyone else a few weeks ago and I thought Ultra would solve the issue. It didn’t. It still hallucinates and sometimes go out of canon.

Super strange question but I’m 19m extended BF.

I had 2 babies previously. Both BF until age 2 and used both boobs.

Baby #3 decided about 14 months in that she doesn’t like Right Boob anymore. I thought maybe it was milk flow or something so I didn’t think much of it.

I also thought it was naturally just dry up.

About 16 months, she nursed on it for 3 days straight. God, it felt like all this pressure released that I didn’t even know was there. Then she stopped.

Follow-up kinda to my last question about Asian men in literature.

I really want to read/watch some horror by Western Asian men. Not just acting (Steven Yuen in Nope creeped me out ngl, I was into it) but also wrote/directed, some sort of major creative control.

I’m open to movies/shows where theyre an actor, but I’m also interested in graphic novels, books, anything major media contributions. Artists too!

Is Western Asian men in the horror genre too niche to ask? Motherlands have SO MANY, theres gotta be some on the west side.

A lot of Asian fiction writers are women and I‘m looking for Asian men in fiction. I’d prefer stories that don’t center immigrant trauma or “growing up Asian is hard” because I’m so tired of that topic (looking at you, comedians).

Theres plenty of translated fiction from motherland Asian men but I am specifically wanting to read from Western Asian men.
