Baby rabbit [Oklahoma]

I found a baby rabbit in my shop garage. Can you guys help me ID what he is and how old he is? I found him in my very large shop building under a car. I live on 20 acres I have no idea where this baby’s den is. I don’t think he’s at the fully weened age. I used to have a wildlife rehab er near me but they moved states so I literally don’t know who to call or what to do, any advice? Do I just put him back outside and he will find his way back to his den? It’s night time if that matters.

Edit/ solved! He appears to be old enough to be on his own so he has been put back out in the grass outside

Dragon bites hurt ! TW blood

Took my little guy camping with me, he’s been super chill and has enjoyed his time outside. Dune came to me as an adult so I did not have his baby years to raise him, he’s always been very untrusting of people and I’ve made so much progress with him in the 3 years I’ve had him. Today he got startled by my partner when we were outside and when I went to grab him he latched onto me with a lockjaw. Took some serious force to get him to let go. I think his harness that he hates, him being outside and my partner walking up really spooked him. So yea just be careful guys!

Last pic is the culprit Mr Dune

Nerve involvement during flare

I have been having the worst flare of my life. I never have extreme swelling but I’ve had it bad bad this time around. Another thing I’ve only ever had slightly is nerve pain. This flare has given me the worse nerve pain I’ve ever had in my life. We’re talking my whole torso burns, I feel like I’m on fire and I can’t even be touched. I just finished a course of prednisone. I’m going to the urgent care to get some steroid shots. I’ve been using nsaid topical cream. Anyone else have nerve involvement? I think I’m gonna need to go to the neurologist, I’m just really scared and hurting really bad. I guess I came to see if you guys have experience in this sort of thing with this insane disease. Thanks

Pls help me find this yarn!

I only have ONE skein of it and I’m hoping it’s enough to make some ankle socks. I am pretty sure it’s a discontinued sock line from either hobby lobby or Joann’s. I have lost the yarn tag but I know it was sock yarn 😭 it’s super fine, kinda stretchy and really soft. It’s also like variegated and self striping at the same time. If I can find out what it is I can look and ask around if anyone has any more of it. I love this yarn so much and I wasn’t able to find much on it looking myself. I feel like this is the best group to come with for help on finding a mysterious yarn. Pls help me guys! Thank you!

Edit* it’s also way more pastel the camera just can’t capture the color right.

Edit edit* THANK YOU BugMa! The yarn has been found as well as other options that look like it! Thank you my knitting friends for all your help!

Just wanted to make a post celebrating my babies

I put my Lemondrop to sleep yesterday. Her last two days were filled with her favorite things. I put her asleep two days after what would have been my babyboy’s 5th birthday. I miss my babies. So I just wanted to share them with you all. My babies went too soon, but they had the best last days i could give to them. Enjoy looking at their last days with me. I love you babies. I miss you. Wait for me at the rainbow bridge. I will see you again some day. The first photos are lemon and the second are Chili. With a photo added at the end of each of them of when they were healthy and happy.

For anyone wanting a beardie, anyone going through hardships with their current baby, anyone who would like to know some more information - i made a post about what I’ve been through that you’re welcome to read on my page.

Those of you going through heartbreak right now, I’m with you. I feel your pain. You are not alone. Those with your babies right now, hug them extra for me.

So you want a bearded dragon? Let me help you decide.

I would like to start by saying. This will be a very long read. I will be going over in detail about death and loss. If you are a new owner, or wanting to become an owner of these beautiful creatures. I urge you to read my story.

TLDR/ I have 2 decades of experience with bearded dragons. My experiences were lovely and painfull at the same time. 10/12 of my bearded dragons died from things fully out of my control. I had to put most of them to rest. Something I would not wish upon my worst enemy to experience. To learn more about the problems my dragons faced you’ll have to read about each of them below. They passed way from Cancer, neurological issues, organ failure, genetic failure, reproductive failure. The pain of losing a pet so dear to you is a pain no one should bare. They are family, and it hurts so bad to lose family. Dragons are getting sicker, every year young or old dragons are dying from health complications. It is your job as the provider to research and care for your companion to the highest standard. You must research the history of different morphs. I cannot tell you what to do but I can tell you my fancy morphs all lived at a cost, and I do not support greed. I will no longer support greed. My bearded dragon ownership ends with my remaining 3. I will live vicariously through the eyes of others and their dragons, when all of mine have crossed over to paradise. These are lovely animals. My favorite animals in the world, I’m not saying you should not get one but through my experience I hope it helps you stay informed on the risk you face. Please do your research on bearded dragons. To all those dragons who have crossed the rainbow bridge, I wish you forever peace and love.
Happy heavenly 5th birthday Chili.

Today I was met with another terrible outcome to owning bearded dragons. The past 6 years. Notably the past 3 have been some of the toughest hardships I have had to face. I have to put my girl to rest on Thursday. But before getting into that I will go over my experience with all my babies and telling you a little about how I came to have so many.
I’m almost 27 years old. I have owned bearded dragons since the age of 7. I am the crazy cat lady of the bearded dragon world. All of my dragons who I’ll tell you about today have came from a breeder, or were rescued. I’ll go over all their history with you.

Today I’m going to tell you about my 12 dragons. 2/12 of these dragons are living without severe health complications as of current day. 2 out of 12. Let those odds speak to you. 10 of my dragons are dying, have been put to sleep, or have suffered bad health complications leading to death.
4 of them are with me today. 1 of them will be euthanized by Thursday afternoon.

I’m going to list the names, genetics, ages and genders of all my dragons. They will be in order of the photos.
Mochi (F 1 1/2) Full blood Red Monster , translucent
Chili (M4) Hypo Translucent
Phoenix aka Fifi (F9) Leatherback
From the left is Fifi, then Ekko (F10) and her sister Polly (F11) both of the old girls were standard
Ghost (M3) Paradox Translucent Leatherback (possibly zero)
Moose (M2) standard
Stub (M2) Hypo
Lemondrop (F6) Hypo
Jelly (F4) Hypo Leatherback Dunner

I’ll be writing the dragons and their complications starting from the first to present day. They won’t be in order of the list above. I will make each experience as brief as I can. If anyone going through something like any of these stories would like more information on a certain one. Please reach out, and I can provide you vet records I have on the subject you want to know more about.

Moose- I rescued moose in Colorado metro area in December 2021. Moose was very “healthy” up until March 21st 2023. He had regurgitated this day. This had never happened before and I was very worried. I called his vet and he had an appointment the next morning. The next morning the 22nd his appointment turned into a cremation and necropsy. Moose, my healthy happy boy had died a sudden death in the night. Moose died from genetic failure. The necropsy found his kidneys had grown into his stomach, my vet determined this was his cause of death and it had to be a mutation caused by his genes that slowly over time became fatal. This was my first experience with sudden tragic loss of one of my babies.

Ghost- Ghost was my second baby I rescued. He was the second dragon I would lose. I rescued ghost from someone I knew, who took him in from a stranger who reached out. He did not have the space so I brought him into my care. Ghost was very physically unwell when I first met him. I knew something was very wrong. I booked him an appointment with my vet the next day. This was Jaunuary 31st 2023. Ghost presented with constant black beard and severe head tremors. The next several months were nothing but vet visits and unanswered questions. All my vet could tell me was he had something neurologically wrong. He had many blood tests, tests, scans. You name it. Ghost started to not be able to eat on his own and was on a liquid diet of repashy grub pie, emeraid herbivore and multivitamins/supplements for the majority of his time with me. September 2023 I took him to an excellent exotic specialist in Denver Colorado metro area. Colorado had way more exotic specialists than I had in Oklahoma at the time. My vets were unable to determine what was wrong with ghost so I traveled to get him seen by someone with more knowledge and resources available in reptiles and exotics. It was here that Ghost was diagnosed with a neurological disorder officially. Ghost had started to suffer infrequent short seizures which is what led for me to seek out a more specialized vet. The doctor determined his brain was not functioning correctly. Leading to his severe tremors, constant state of black beard, and seizures. He was practically blind, able to see but not understand or process his surroundings. Soon after getting a diagnosis and seizures starting, Ghost had started significantly and rapidly declining. Once home for a bit from Colorado he started having seizures randomly only several minutes apart. The only thing keeping him from seizing was keeping him asleep. Ghost was rushed to his vet in Oklahoma, presented with the findings from the specialist in CO the vets gave me two choices. Ghost lives a life on hospice basically sedated 24/7 or we have him put to rest. I ultimately chose to not be selfish and put his pain and suffering to rest, he was put to sleep in my arms October 12, 2023. His necropsy determined he suffered severe neurological damage, from genetics. Ghost was the first dragon I had put to rest. And it will stick with me the rest of my life.
Present day seizures and neurological problems in bearded dragons are still severely understudied. For ghosts sake and all the dragons to come after him. All I can hope is that medicine for this condition can be treated to extend the life and qol of future dragons.

Mochi- Mochi was my second big adult purchase, I imported her directly from a breeder in Malaysia. This was when RM bearded dragons were first hitting the market. Mochi was one of the first ones to enter the United States. I had no idea what her future was about to be when I held her in my hands for the first time on August 17th, 2022. Mochi would not make it to her second birthday. I have already went into a full story on her before. So I will keep her troubling life brief. When I first recieved mochi she was taken to a new veterinarian specialist at one of the best exotic vets in my state. She was having seizures just a day after I received her. She stayed in icu for 2-3 days under constant care. The vets determined she had hypocalcemia. Causing seizures and head tremors. She was treated accordingly and she seemingly never had another problem until June 11th 2024. I had noticed that morning Mo was lethargic and didn’t want to eat. I was going to call her vet tomorrow to get her seen. By that evening after I came in from being outside for an hour or two she had puked up blood. It was all over her tank. I rushed her to her vet, which also have an emergency vet open until 10pm. It was 9:50. Mochi was put into the icu overnight. The next morning at 7:33am I got a call saying mochi went into cardiac arrest 30 minutes ago and cpr had not been effective. Mochi passed away on June 12th, 2024. It took the vets 3-4 months to go over her necropsy results. Finally telling me her main cause of death was from liver failure, a healthy young dragon who wasn’t even two yet. She had blood built up in all of her organs and there were many other questionable findings like a neurological issue the same as ghost. My vets determined she passed away from liver disease caused by genetic failure. 2 years later it has been widely known full Malaysian reds were closely inbred. Mochi died because of greed. Mochi was bred to fail. I lost a big piece of me when she passed way.

Fifi- Fifi was a baby I bought from a chain pet store back around 2016. Many people do not consider buying. Babies from chains as a rescue effort but I do consider Fifi a rescue, like her sisters Ekko and Polly who were bought a year before. Going into the pet store to get worms, I had seen each of them in poor health and couldn’t help but take them away from that place to give them a better life. She lived a long and fruitful life. She grew with me into adulthood. Fifi would start to get deathly ill around a week after Mochi passed away. The vets had found she had leukemia. It traveled so quickly through her body that by time she got her first round of chemo, it failed to work because the cancer had spread to every part of her body. Working closely with my vets, we determined the therapy was not working. She got one more blood test and we decided to put her to rest. She died July 26th, 2024. Her necropsy results showed she had leukemia as earlier found in her blood, and it had rapidly spread to every part of her body. Leading her to not make it through her chemotherapy. Fifi was the first dragon I would lose to a form of cancer. She passed away peacefully in my arms. Only weeks after losing my babygirl mochi.

Stub- Stub was the only outlier of all my dragons, dying from heart failure due to listeria. A very rare thing found in dragons who have eaten produce infected by bad meat. I still to this day have no idea how he was able to come into contact with something like this. All of my other dragons were taken to the vet to check for listeria and none of them would have it. I still feel responsible for his death. All it takes was a microscopic piece of infected produce to be able to kill him. I no longer keep my bearded dragon produce in the same fridge as meat and even if I buy organic salad ingredients I wash them very thoroughly every time. Not that I didn’t do this before or anything. But I take even more time to rinse now. My vets told me it could’ve been a single piece of food I missed in washing. And that’s why he was the only one affected. I couldn’t have known, it wasn’t my fault. This was an extremely rare case, and it could’ve happened to anyone. Stub just happened to be a dragon it happened to. Stub passed away from heart failure caused by listeria on April 23rd 2025. A day before his euthanasia was scheduled. He died in my hands waiting to be brought back for emergency euthanasia. He was just 2. If it can happen to me, it can happen to you. To prevent produce contaminated with listeria, wash your produce thoroughly. Keep your produce away from meats in your refrigerator. Frequently throw meats away. Even though I had kept my produce seperate from meat in my fridge, washed it thoroughly, and never had any meat go bad. Stub still suffered a horrible fate. And I will forever be scared of listeria.

Ekko- I got Ekko in 2015, like I mentioned earlier. Ekko was one of my first dragons in my later life. Growing up with me together with Fifi and Polly her clutch mate. Ekko lived a long fruitful healthy life just as Fifi did. The reason for me getting her was she was in poor condition and I wanted to give her a better life and a chance to grow. She did, but not without hardships. Ekko was diagnosed around the age of 6 with Muscular Dystrophy. Ekko had signs of this ever since she first came home with me. Luckily for Ekko muscular dystrophy was no problem for her and did not affect her life. It was very mild, and she was able to stay very mobile. Until she also got leukemia. Ekko was too old and weak to go through chemotherapy, it would likely be unsuccessful like with Fifi so I chose to put her to rest on November 24th 2025. She was 10, nearly 11. Passing away 3 months before her 11th birthday. The same thing that happened to Fifi had happened to Ekko. Leukemia took her life. Ekko passed away peacefully in my arms.

Chili- Chili was my heart dragon. Just like my mochi. I loved every one of my dragons deeply. But chili and mo were my soul dragons. Their deaths hit me the hardest. I bought chili from a breeder on morphmarket in Cincinnati Ohio and he was shipped to me and arrived July 7th, 2021. Chili was a healthy young fella. He went with me everywhere, being my youngest for a long time I felt good about bringing him out and getting him used to being outside of his enclosure. Chili traveled the world with me, chili was with me anytime I needed emotional support. He was my best friend. My last closest companion. Chili would start to show health problems at the age of 3 in 2024. Having slight head tremors. Just like ghost. I immediately took him to the vets knowing this tracks with ghost and mochis history. All three of these guys were translucent dragons. All three showed head tremors. For the next year my vets would study him and treat him for various things. It was found later that chili had a diseased gallbladder. On top of developing serious head tremors around the same time. Knowing Ghosts history his head tremors were closely monitored along with his gallbladder. Chili underwent extensive vet visits with various blood panels, X-rays, scans from 2024 to 2026. He was on treatment to flush his gallbladder out for several months. And if his tremors started developing into seizures there was a plan of action available to prevent them now years later after ghost had little option. I was hopeful chili would still be with me for a very long time. on a regular check up on his blood his glucose was through the roof. The vets always had cancer in the back of their minds and always warned me of this being the possibility of his gallbladder issue. After finding high glucose in his blood chili underwent an in depth ultrasound like he’d had done many times over the year to compare and take a closer look. They found that the mass they had seen on screening a few months ago was still there and more Apparent. This led them to diagnose him with GNT/GNEC. cancer. Our next steps were slim. I went from Chili was just going in for a check on his gallbladder and possibly a feeding tube surgery scheduling to keep his weight up. To chili has a fatal diagnosis. The vets told me, GNT/GNEC was a new cancer very understudied with no treatment to date. My only option was to spend some time with him, and put him to rest. I held on to chili for 2 weeks. Wanting to spend every second I could with him. Not wanting to put him to sleep but not wanting him to be in pain any longer. I laid my baby boy to rest on March 31st, 2026. I watched him wake up and go to sleep for one last time. Today is his 5th birthday. July 7th, 2026. Happy 5th birthday my baby. I miss you.

Polly- Polly was bought a day after Ekko from the same store. She was tiny and lethargic. I had to bring her home. So I did. Polly lived a full life. Extremely healthy never having a health visit one time. Only thing was she was always little. Being forever stunted by her early life of neglect at the pet store. Polly was a small girl but she was as hardy as they came, she defied odds and lived a very long life. Polly started to lose weight around the start of January 2026. I’d seen this all before. Cancer right? I took her to the vet and she got bloodwork and an in depth ultrasound. The ultrasound showed petrified eggs in her belly. Polly never showed any signs of being gravid, and it was unexpected that she had eggs. They’d been there a long while, not causing complications until now. Polly was to be 11 soon. In February. Way too old to get a spay surgery to remove her reproductive organs and the petrified eggs. Polly was put on meloxicam and critical care carnivore. She was basically on hospice. If she started to decline, we would put her to sleep. It was the only thing to do. Polly struggled to keep weight but her appetite was very strong. Polly started to decline in the beginning of April on the 12th. I was ready for this. But I had just lost my chili. I held on to Polly until she stopped eating altogether on April 25th. That day I called and set a date to put her to sleep. Polly was put to rest April 27th. Being kept comfortable on pain medications until her euthanasia. Polly’s necropsy determined she had passed away at the age of 11 from reproductive failure. Polly was able to go peacefully in my arms.

Jelly- Sometime between chili and Polly, jelly presented with what seemed to me to be an upper respiratory infection. She was then treated for such but continued to have issues. At this time jelly has had blood tests, and an in depth ultrasound. Vets are concerned after seeing a small dark possible mass on her scan. At this time jelly still breathes weird, but is healthy presenting with minor inflammation from follicle production and reabsorption. Jelly is under suspicion of having GNT/GNEC like chili, or some other form of cancer. Or mildly diseased liver from producing and absorbing follicles. The vets cannot tell without poking the mass and pulling a sample from it. She presents no high glucose at this time. Jelly is stable, eats good, is not lethargic. She has blood tests every month to check her values. Jelly is still with me today. I have not wanted to investigate further and do invasive procedures as long as she is presenting fairly healthy on her blood tests and physically looks to have good qol. I am consistently monitoring her. Jelly is 4.

Lemondrop- My girl. Lemon has been through so much the past year and a half. She had reproductive failure last year, and an emergency spay. She broke both collar bones pulling calcium to produce her follicles. She recovered from both breaks and spay surgery end of January 2025.
It is now just over a year later. Early July 2026. 6 weeks ago Lemon started losing weight and having runny poops. She had been being treated with 2 different antibiotics for parasites. We had no reason to believe this was something else when presented with positive fecal. After finishing treatment she had only gotten worse. Her check up turned into blood work and an in depth ultrasound to check her organs 2 days ago. 2 days ago Lemondrop was diagnosed with reproductive failure. She regrew both ovaries, she regrew follicles. Lemondrop has a very low chance of surviving another more complicated spay surgery. And a feeding tube surgery at the same time. She could survive it and still die soon after. She could live another year and have this happen again. There were two options, Risk surgery or give her two really good last days and have her put to rest in my arms. Leaving no open window for fatal loss during surgery, after surgery, or in another year. Leaving no open window for risking her suffering and being in pain. Lemondrop will be put to sleep on Thursday July 9th. She will go peacefully in my arms. She is just 6 years old.

I would never wish upon anyone having to make the decision to lay their baby to rest. Deciding the more humane path of things and watching your baby go to sleep and cross the rainbow bridge. Whether it be way too early or later in life. It is never easy.
I live with guilt. Everyday. Even though I made the right choice. Even though I did everything possible for my dragons. Took the best care of my babies. I live with guilt, I live with grief. This is a reality you must accept if you own a bearded dragon. They are beings totally reliant on you and you alone. They are beings that have health problems. You have to have the means to take care of them if any health problem arises. It is your duty to help the helpless. They cannot speak. They cannot take care of themselves. If that is something you know you can do, face the reality that dragons are getting sicker. More cases of Females having reproductive failure. More Dragons young and old getting a form of cancer. Every year. Every day. You are left with a decision. You may have a perfectly healthy dragon that lives to be old, you may not. It’s your decision to weigh those odds and make the decision to get a bearded dragon. These are lovely creatures. I would go through all of the hardship I faced with every single one of my babies over and over again. I would do it again. Just to live with them again by my side. However I would not wish that heartbreak on any other person.

I leave you with my experience, with my babies stories. Think carefully about bearded dragon ownership. They are a commitment you have to be fully prepared to make. Taking on the good or the bad. They are family. There will always be bad people breeding all animals of Mother Nature. There will always be healthy young and unhealthy young. Pet ownership is fulfilling. But it can also be hard. I just hope my experience helps you make a decision about owning a bearded dragon.

To all the dragons who suffered at the hands of neglect, the ones who suffered at the hands of greed, the ones who suffered abuse, the ones who suffered unexpected illness, the ones who lived full happy lives. To all the dragons who have crossed the rainbow bridge. May you have peace and love forever, as you deserve.

For those who have read this far, those who have dragons now, cherish your time with your babies. For those who have lost like I have, cherish their memory. For those who are wanting, think of your commitment and should you decide to have one- cherish your companion, or if not, cherish these beautiful creatures through the eyes and lives of others.
I love bearded dragons, to me they are worth all of the pain I’ve been through. My life would not be the same without all of my babies who walked through life with me. I will cherish the time I have with my remaining 3, until their very last breaths. When the time comes when they are all together in paradise. It will be the end of my ownership of bearded dragons. I will cherish the thought of seeing my babies again, and will cherish bearded dragons through the eyes and lives of others. Thank you for reading.

Rest in peace my precious babies. Fly high in your heaven until one day I can meet you there and gaze into your loving eyes again. Thank you for granting me the honor of being your mom. I love you and I miss you.

Any servers like TSG?

I’ve not played Minecraft since the stoned golem shut down. I miss everything about that server. The ability to have your own shop in a shopping district, the proxy chat, the custom weapons and armors, ability to make your own town. Anything like that in the modern day?

Async hat

I bought my tickets through my theatre. I didn’t know you needed to buy them through a24 to get the hat 🫩 anyone know if the promo code is specific from person to person? Or if it’s just a code they send to the masses? I have no idea how to get this hat now that I’ve already bought my tickets through the theatre.

Pls help, spiderling

This guy jumped onto my hand when I was on my bed. Do I keep? Do I let him face the hardships of being in my home freely? I have two dogs and many wolf spiders that are in my home. I’m scared if I leave him be he won’t find food or will be food or will be stepped on. I don’t want to put him outside because he’s tiny and that’s where I put all the big jumpys I find in my home is right by my front door on my raised beds. If I keep him I have these mealworm cups that have pinholes in them but I’m afraid he can get out of them because he’s the size of an ant. I don’t want him to die, what is my solution T-T
