C27 - The Crescent Nebula

The Crescent Nebula is an emission nebula located 5,000 light years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. I changed my workflow for this image, and love how it came out.

I’ve designed and 3D printed wall mounts, card boxes, and adapters to fix cards safely inside tins. Let me know if this is something you’re interested in!

M16 - The Eagle Nebula

Messier 16, or the Eagle Nebula, is an Emission Nebula located 7,000 light years away in the constellation Serpens. It has an apparent magnitude of 6.0. This is my first image that I’ve edited in both Siril and Gimp, and I think it came out great.

It took 4 tries and 39 people, but I finally got one! We failed the first 3 tries with 17 - 21 people which is insane

How do you plate solve the Milky Way?

I’m trying to edit an image of the Milky Way that I took on my SeeStar S30 Pro, and I can’t get it to plate solve for the life of me in Siril. Any tips?
