For iPad owners, what made your iPad worth keeping?

I’ve been thinking about getting an iPad lately, but I’m less interested in whether it’s “worth it” and more curious about how people actually use theirs long-term.

For those who own an iPad, what role does it play in your setup if you already have a laptop and a phone?

I work remotely and already have a MacBook Air and an iPhone, so most of my work is covered. What I’m trying to figure out is what makes people keep reaching for their iPad instead of their laptop or phone.

Do you use it mostly for productivity, entertainment, travel, reading, gaming, video calls, note-taking, or something else entirely?

What are the things you use your iPad for regularly that made you feel it was money well spent? And are there any uses you didn’t expect when you first bought it?

Curious to hear real-world experiences, especially from people who have owned one for a while.

For VAs who already have a laptop and phone, is an iPad worth it or is it just a bigger phone?

Hi everyone,

I’m a VA and most of my work is done on a MacBook Air using Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, LinkedIn, ChatGPT, and a few AI tools. I already have iPhone, so technically I have everything I need for work.

Lately, I’ve been considering getting an iPad, but I’m not sure if it would actually add value or if it’s just one of those gadgets that seems useful at first.

I can see myself using it for video calls, watching shows, browsing, reading, light gaming, and bringing something lightweight to cafés instead of carrying my laptop everywhere. But at the same time, part of me wonders if it’s basically just a bigger phone.

For those who own an iPad:
* Do you use it mainly for work or more for lifestyle and entertainment?
* Has it genuinely improved your daily routine?
* If you already had a laptop and phone, was it still worth buying?
* Or did the novelty wear off after a few months?

I’d love to hear honest experiences before I decide. Thanks!

Besides Nextdoor, what channels are working for you?

Hi everyone! I’m part of a roofing company in the US, and I handle our lead generation efforts.

Over the past several months, Nextdoor has been one of our more consistent sources of homeowner leads. Recently, though, we’ve run into some platform changes and restrictions that have made it more challenging to generate leads organically, so we’re looking to diversify.

We’re also using Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, cold email, and cold calling, but I’m curious to hear what others in the industry are doing.

For those in roofing sales:
- What organic lead generation channels are working well for you?
- Are there any platforms or communities you’ve found worthwhile?
- If you were trying to build a steady pipeline today, where would you focus your efforts?

I’d really appreciate hearing what’s been working for other roofing companies. Thanks in advance!

What organic lead generation channels are working for roofing companies in the US?

Hi everyone! I’m a virtual assistant who handles lead generation remotely for a roofing company based in Washington State, USA. Since I work remotely, I’m looking for online platforms, communities, or strategies that can be managed virtually.

Over the past several months, we’ve been testing different organic lead generation channels. Nextdoor has been one of our strongest sources of homeowner leads, but recent platform changes have made our previous workflow much more limited. We’ve also tried Facebook, LinkedIn, cold email, and cold calling, but we’re always looking for other effective ways to reach homeowners organically.

If you were responsible for generating qualified homeowner leads online for a roofing company in the US, where would you spend your time?

Are there any platforms, websites, online communities, directories, or strategies that have consistently worked well for you?

I’m mainly looking for methods that can realistically be managed remotely, so I’d really appreciate hearing what’s worked for you. Even if it’s something outside the usual Facebook or Google recommendations, I’d love to learn about it. Thanks in advance! 🙌🏻

What affordable matcha can I mix with Top Creamery?

Bought the 1kg Top Creamery matcha from the orange app and now I’m trying to figure out how to make it taste better. 😅

It’s not bad for the price, but it’s lacking the umami flavor I’m looking for. Rather than replacing it completely, I’m thinking of mixing it with another matcha that’s affordable but has a stronger matcha taste.

As a WFH girly who drinks matcha almost everyday, I’m not looking for ceremonial-grade matcha that costs a fortune, just something reasonably priced that can elevate the taste without breaking the bank.

Would love to hear your suggestions and ratios if you’ve tried mixing different matchas before. Thanks! 🍵💚
