Travelling to SEA later this month and looking for some practical advice from people who’ve travelled with Mounjaro.

By then I’ll be on my 5th dose of 5 mg. I’m debating whether to just take a 5 mg pen and use the “golden dose” there, since it can apparently stay unrefrigerated for up to 21 days, or get a 15 mg pen and carry it in a cooling pouch. Although I would prefer skipping a dose all together.

Also, when flying, do you guys keep the pen + needles in carry-on or check them in? Any issues with airport security/customs in SEA?

Would love to hear what’s worked for others.

Took my first Mounjaro dose (2.5 mg) yesterday.

No major side effects so far, just a bit of stomach discomfort. I do feel full much faster and it lasts longer, which is new for me. But what surprised me is I still kept eating even after I was full.

That made me realize this is not just hunger for me. It is habit. Stress eating, finishing everything on the plate, eating just because it is there.

Now when I eat past fullness, my stomach actually hurts a bit, so I cannot ignore it like before.

Wanted to ask people who have gone through this:
What actually helped you stop eating once you were already full?

And if you are on Mounjaro, did increasing the dose as per your doctor make it easier, or is this something you had to fix separately?

Trying to understand how much of this is physical vs mental.

Same as title. They perform on 16th May. Used to be a big Pink Floyd fan.

As the title says, I’m still on VIP for PGP YL and it’s honestly getting pretty frustrating.

I know my profile isn’t the strongest, but this long period of uncertainty is tough to deal with. It genuinely feels like my application is just sitting there not even sure if they’ve bothered opening it yet. The adcom certainly isn’t the most competent one if someone’s effort is invaluable contrary to what they preach.

Anyone else stuck in this limbo?
