Is the 2026 West event setup final?

Wondering if Nintendo or Sony would show - or perhaps its a last minute thing? It would be cool if they did for hands on the new fire emblem, or wolverine. i doubt it since they don't appear to be on the list but man it would be so cool!

probability of FFXIV content/booths/merch?

This is such a silly question, but I only started attending PAX in 2024 and my girlfriend and I have had an absolute blast each time! Just curious though, has there typically been any ff14 booths, content, merch, etc? I just beat the third expansion and love the game so much, so I'm trying to get some merchandise I can put on my bag, like an iron on patch lol

I'm aware we won't see Evercold content specifically because we have Fanfest coming up Oct 31/Nov 1st :)

Been dieting and working out for 9 months. Continue cutting until 11 or 12 % body fat, then start lean bulking? Or what do you suggest?

Hey all. Male, 32 years old, 5'11, somewhere between 140-144 pounds. When I started, I was >= 20 lbs higher, certainly in the 30% body fat range.

Now I ask, where should I go from here? Ideally, I'd like to get visible abs when relaxed. I suppose I'm worried that if I also start bulking that I won't have my jaw gains/vascularity/definition/abs.

Photos included are relaxed and braced.

My goal was to hit 11% or 12% body fat. I believe I'm currently sitting between 15% or 14%. Should I continue cutting to get to my desired goal and then start lean bulking?

I currently eat about 1800 calories a day, about 155g of protein, 200g of T. carbs, and 30g of fat (I'm aware my fat content needs to be in the 40s and have started adjusting that).

Thoughts on working at Moda Health?

I have a second interview coming up for a Provider Configuration Analyst position at Moda Health (mostly remote/work from home).

I haven't found much information about the role, other than the job description and the first interview. Glassdoor didn't seem to provide much information, either.

My background:

  • BS in Mathematics
  • BS in Computer Science (got this one 2 years later)

This would be my first full-time post-college / career job. From my understanding, the job is mostly Excel and SQL work. Even though I have a degree in Computer Science, I'm mostly interested and looking for quantitative and data focused roles instead of software engineering positions.

The pay is between $23 and $26, which seems a bit low for my educational background. I'm wondering if this would be a good entry role as I begin a career, or if I should pursue other data/quantitative positions that may be more aligned with my educational background?

Has anyone here worked at Moda Health (or this role)? How was your experience? Is this a good entry point to start a career given my educational background, or should I look for other data and quantitative roles?

I am looking for a dentist that accepts OHP or cheaper procedures, where can I find one? Various treatments needed.

Hi all,

I'm on OHP (specifically, Health Share/ODS) and that isn't looking to change anytime soon. I recently had seen a dentist, and they mentioned that I need some procedures don. The dental work I need soon consists of:

  • Fillings
  • 3 Crowns
  • 1 Root Canal

Given the cost of this work (and some of it not being paid by OHP at all), I'm looking to go to a dentist that can either take OHP, and/or treatment is significantly less than seeing the typical dentist.

It's worth noting, that I have a dental implant on one of the teeth next to the one that requires a root canal, which the dentist suggests as a real high priority.

On top of that, I also have various other treatments that need to be done shortly after this. There are at least 1 (more likely 2) other implants needed on my right side to have a fill bite (and of course, a crown for those are likely needed...). I am aware the implants themselves are expensive and not will not be able to find a specialist that has a lower rate.

I've also been told for well over a decade now that I need braces. Given my dental health and financial situation, this hasn't been very feasible.

I heard some rumblings that OHSU school of dentistry may be a good place for me to go. From my understanding they take OHP, with the exception that root canals are not covered. That said, the cost of the root canal would be substantially less than going to another dentist, if I am understanding correctly.

As a 32 year old man with limited resources, what can I do? I had a lot of molars removed in my 20s due to teeth impacting each other. This has caused me numerous tooth infections over the years.

I have the opportunity to purchase firstlast.com ; some questions...

Fortunately, I'm in a spot where I have unique of a name that it is not taken.

Should I register for firstlast.com ; and if so, what about other variations, such as .me, .email, and/or .net ?

I would love to take last.com, but that doesn't expire from its owner for a year from now. Perhaps I should keep my eye on that? or perhaps are there other better alternatives?

Lastly...

- I'd like to have an email setup via Outlook (vastly prefer over gmail). How can I do this when purchasing a domain? Should I use my existing outlook, or a new one?

- Where should I purchase the domain? Cloudflare?

Thank you everybody!

Edit: Would first@firstlast.com be silly for an email?

Just got to Shadowbringers. Holy shit, the intro cinematic. (No spoilers).

Can we talk about how god damned incredible this intro cinematic is? I'm not even 10 quests into Shadowbringers, and this expansion is already blowing my mind with its narrative.

I hadn't even watched the intro cinematic to it until the other night, and, wow. God damn. This has to absolutely be one of the best, if not the best, intro cinematic to a game I've played.

Is this your favorite intro cinematic? If not, what is?

No spoilers.

Outlook inbox refuses to load images.

Hey all,

For the last week or so, I've noticed outlook refuses to load inline-images within my inbox.

Here are some examples:

Example 1

Example 2

I've noticed this more specifically with emails from reddit.

Any suggestions? The default "Always use Outlook service to load images" is turned on. This used to not be an issue.

I have 117,094 items in my iCloud photo library with optimized storage is on. How can I safely backup this entire library as the high quality originals onto a local SSD?

Hi all,

I'm sure this question has been asked around before, but I'm finding myself pretty stuck. My fiance and I are trying to offload our iCloud photo libraries onto local storage, but there seems to be no definite way to do it, at least based on what I've found and tried.

I have a few 2TB external SSDs. What is the most efficient way possible I could move my entire iCloud photo library onto one?

Optimized iCloud is turned on (otherwise I'd have no space, obviously). However, we'd like to download the high quality originals onto the drive.

Once that is done, I'd like to ensure they're backed up (I'll make a backup of the external drive), and then wipe my iCloud photo library and "start new".

How can I go about this?

Outlook for desktop (macOS) missing features compared to Outlook on the web? i.e., Sweep functionality.

Hi all,

I've been in the process of clearing out my old 'first.last@outlook(.)com 'email. Using Outlook for desktop, I realized that there exists the 'rules' feature, which has by far been excellent. I love that it can simply redirect and manage incoming emails from specific domains.

Anyways, this got me looking into Outlook on the web, which...may be better? Alongside the 'rules' feature, Outlook on the web has the 'Sweep' feature, which essentially does the same thing as the former - except it seems to run more efficiently at catching the emails, and makes managing incoming and existing inbox emails easy since it can handle both.

I've been looking for this feature on the desktop app for macOS, and it appears to not exist. What else am I missing? Should I simply stick with using Outlook for the web...?

Thanks!

31m, been working on myself the last 6+ months.

I did my first cosplay last November and was not happy with how my appearance was (none of them are attached here).

Since then, I've been working on myself, but in each (current) photo posted here I see of myself now I still see what I saw from the old cosplay photos. Body dysphoria sure is something, I guess.

Accessing desktop bookmarks on mobile is a pain.

I have a Firefox account which contains numerous bookmarks that have been categorized into neat folders. It's pretty straight forward to access them on the desktop browser. On macOS, I click `Booksmarks` in the menu-bar and immediately have access to them.

However, browsing bookmarks on mobile (iOS) seems to be counterintuitive:

- Select `...`

- Select `Bookmarks`

- Select `Desktop Bookmarks`

- Select `Bookmarks Menu`

Now I can see my organized bookmarks...but why must it take four clicks? Why not just two or less? In fact, why is the bookmarks icon not accessible from the address bar?

Am I missing something in the settings that could alleviate this?
