How to stop them from crawling onto the couch?

for some reason my living room is their favorite place to be despite frequent cleaning, multiple rounds of Alpine WSG, gentrol, boric acid, property management pest services, etc. I know a couple travelers are to be expected when living in a cheap apartment with dirty neighbors but I’m doing everything in my power to keep the bastards away from my personal space and they’re still running up on me every day in broad daylight. last night one got on my couch and Im just feeling very disgusted and defeated.

Is there a definitive way you can discourage them from climbing on beds and couches? I have boric acid lining the whole perimeter of my living room and couch so they’re definitely walking over it, but that clearly isn’t stopping them. Maybe I need to stick a glue trap under every single leg of the couch. IDK. Let me know what you guys think
