New Diagnosis. Start Creon

I had Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy 5 years ago. Started having severe oily diarrhea every time I ate any fat 8 months ago. Finally saw gastroenterologist. FE 169. Calprotectin stool 28. He prescribed Creon 48,000 units TID with meals.

I am on Medicare including with Humana Part D Plan. Looks like covered (TIER 3 with 25% copay) until max out of pocket $2100. Then zero cost to me until next year. 90 day supply is $1600 which puts me max $2100. I guess I can't complain too much as this isn't like some others. But still tight on just SS.

I have been eating almost fat free for months which helped control steatorrhea. But I guess long-term not a solution. I have received 3 annual RECLAST infusions for osteoporosis.

I started feeding wet Purina Bright Mind as a topper. It has a proprietary type MCT oil in it to enhance cognition and alertness. I don't know if it's the amount found in Purina Neurocare which is a prescription food. Will be curious if it helps control his seizures. He is age 7 (a senior).

Almost bought a new 2025 Crosstrek Limited in December. But still uncertain. I thought I wanted emergency forward & reverse braking I've been reading about issues with emergency braking (reverse & forward) and false alarm braking. My driveway at home is steep. Some have reported problems with car refusing to move because incline in front or behind car. That would certainly be an issue for me. Can it be turned on/off whenever? So have it off when entering/exiting driveway but on everywhere else? Or just get Premium Trim without it? But then I don't get blind spot alerts on Premium Trim.

My 2007 CRV shocked me yesterday on a 600 mile highway trip. 30.2 mpg. This is above EPA reported highway average. I put Chevron Techron Fuel System cleaner a month ago. Was rarely getting over 24mpg highway.

Bought Kojo jammies for his 7th birthday. He loves wearing indoor and outdoors sunning himself.
